Episode description

"Lost at The Airport” Amanda walked into the bustling airport, scanning the crowd for her friend, Lisa. They agreed where to meet at the airport. Lisa had told Amanda that she would meet her at the information desk, but she was nowhere to be found.  She thought about calling Lisa, wondering if she had gone to the wrong terminal. Amanda was nervous that Lisa would show up late. They were on a tight schedule to catch their flight. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Lisa appeared, out of breath and apologetic. "I'm so sorry!" Lisa exclaimed. Then she explained why she got lost. “I got confused and went to the arrivals instead of departures. I had no idea where our gate was." Amanda couldn't stay mad at her friend for long. They laughed about the mix-up, relieved that they would make it to their flight. As they made their way to the gate, Amanda thought about how important it is to double-check meeting locations, especially in a busy place like an airport. The friends boarded the plane settled into their seats, grateful for the unexpected adventure. Little did they know that this trip would be filled with more surprises and adventures, making it a trip to remember. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/theenglishzone/support
