Al and I worked with one another in Internal Affairs, the training academy and several other details across the span of 20 years! For a man with 2 careers, Al spent some quality time with his hobbies, officiating sports and Jui Jitsu!
We spoke about "razzing" him while behind the plate of a AAA baseball game, he reffed basketball, football and now MMA! He had two great careers and I hope you all enjoy getting to know Al as much as it was pleasure for me to work with him.
He's a good man, a great cop and a mediocre referee! Just kidding, give him a warm welcome and please, be safe out there!
