The lawless Democrat communists hate the Constitution and all laws that uphold and defend it, and therefore they set out to destroy both by having their anti-Constitutional laws put in place in hopes of establishing a precedent they can build on with even more such laws and 'nullify' the plain wording of the Constitution.
Such is the case in Illinois where the repulsively obese Governor "Jabba the Bolshevik" Prickster has been tasting 'victory' recently, with a communist judge affirming his "assault weapons" ban and himself now signing yet another law that directly assaults the 1st Amendment in order to indirectly assault the 2nd.
