It seems that the media only care about "gun violence" when it serves their interests and can be heavily exploited due to massive loss of life. But, since the shooting at a St. Louis only produced a body count of two, and since the shooter was quickly neutralized by armed officers before he could do the damage he obviously planned on doing, this shooting quickly faded from the media's headlines and was quietly discarded because it didn't produce sufficient carnage to be useful to them.
