CFN Podcast (Ep 9): 2019 Clemson Tigers/ACC Preview
Aug 09, 2019•33 min•Transcript available on Metacast Episode description
Last time we saw Clemson they were dismantling the Alabama Crimson Tide en route to winning their third national championship in school history and second in the last three seasons. From afar they appear to be headed back to the College Football Playoff, in large part because of the lack of competition in the ACC and, well, like it or not, they're pretty damn great.
Who is second best in the ACC however? How would Clemson fare if they were playing an SEC schedule compared to the ACC one they have beaten up on in recent years? And how much does Miami (FL) and Florida State being down change the perception of how talented this conference may actually be?
Nick Shepkowski and Pete Fiutak discuss all that, how Dabo Swinney may be seeing some of the charm wearing off nationally after a recent decision and who poses the biggest threat to upset the Tigers this season in ACC play.
The guys then get into their Power 5 segment, ACC style, as they ask and answer 5 questions in regards to this years ACC and the stories and standings that will play out all fall long.
