The TMF was set up to fund projects for, quote, technology related activities to improve information technology, and to enhance cybersecurity across the federal government.” While it previously had a relatively small balance sheet, the TMF recently received a one billion dollar investment thanks to the American Rescue Plan, along with new repayment guidelines. Combine those two with a very aggressive White House cybersecurity agenda and we’ve got a lot to talk about this week.
