Billy Bob Thornton and J.D. Andrew make up the band “The Boxmasters.” The music is reminiscent of old school classic rock with influences of the 60s and 70s as well as some modern twists. Billy has been playing in bands since middle school and was a roadie for major acts such as the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Blood, Sweat & Tears. J.D. has worked as engineer for everyone from Britney Spears to The Rolling Stones. In this episode we’ll discuss the recording of the new album “Help, I’m Alive”, working with legendary Beatles engineer Geoff Emerick, playing live, and more!
