Possibly our wildest story yet!
On June 10th 1990, British Airways flight 5390 took off from Birmingham en route to Malaga, Spain. 13 minutes into the flight, 6 kilometres up in the sky, the windscreen of the plane's cockpit blew off & Captain Tim Lancaster was sucked out the hole where the window should be.
By pure chance, Captain Tim’s legs anchored him to the plane…but they were also forcing the plane into an accelerating nosedive. What happened next? You’ll have to listen to find out…
