In today’s episode of frightful Fridays we are in Yarmouth 1900 and 1912 as we delve into the mysterious double murders that took place there.
Pretty Mary Jane is found strangled with her own bootlace and left on the sand dunes of Yarmouth Beach in 1900. Living there under an assumed identity, her true identity and killer are eventually traced.
But, 12 years later, a similar crime takes place with the body found only a few hundred yards away from the original crime scene. Dora may has been killed with a bootlace and stockings in just the same way as Mary Jane 12 years earlier.
Was the wrong man executed originally? Is the real original killer back to murder again 12 years later? Or is there a copycat killer living quietly within the Yarmouth community?
Two Yarmouth murders with a similar signature killing style, within a 100 yards of each other, but 12 years apart, is today’s episode of Frightful Fridays.
