The Courtesan Who Got Away With Murder: Murderous Mondays
Marguerite Alibert Fahmy, also known as Marguerite Alibert, was a French socialite and courtesan. Her life was associated with scandal and intrigue due to her relationships with several prominent men, including royalty and nobility, most notably the future King Edward VIII.
Marguerite Alibert married Egyptian aristocrat Ali Kamel Fahmy Bey – it was a tumultuous relationship which ended in his death at the Savoy Hotel in London.
This episode looks at the life, the crime and the whispered rumours of how she really got away with murder.
