"The Agapemonites, or the Abode of Love, Victorian sex cult was founded in 1846. It started with the premise of free love, but, eventually became the all too familiar story of dynamic leader, believing in his own myths and taking full advantage of his devotees in more ways than one.
The Agapemonites is a story in two parts under the two separate leaders,. Today’s episode focuses on the founder, Henry James Prince, and the scandals associated with his reign.
