In this episode of Whitechapel Wednesdays, attempts are made to discover the identity of one of the 2 victims from the double event, but her face is so badly cut up, identification is unsuccessful.
The Dear Boss letter naming himself as Jack the ripper is released to the press as well as a postcard also supposedly sent from the same. The police are publicly bashed for their perceived ineptitude. An emminent psychiatrist of the day gives his take on the personality of "Jack the Ripper" along with an unusual suggestion on catchng him. As the governement refuses to offer a reward for help in capturing the ripper, a fund is gathered together and sent to the governement.
