Episode description

In today’s episode, Jonas Nordquist (Karolinska Institutet) presents highlights from the Breakout Session that he led with Céline Carrera (EIT Health), Dean Jenkins (UCB) and Celeste Kolanko (Liberum IME) at last year’s 13th Annual Meeting of the European CME Forum.

In November 2020, we gathered online for the 13th Annual European CME Forum. The theme was: “European and global CME: What next?” and was led by a faculty of 70 international CME and medical education experts. The meeting was split into Plenary and Breakout sessions.

Tune in to learn more about informal learning and how this has changed in a digital world.

On today’s episode you will hear about:

  • Conceptual clarification of informal learning
  • Informal spaces in digital platforms
  • How ‘Meet the Expert’ could look in the digital world
  • Virtual reality and gamification of meetings
  • Social media as connection tools

If you would like to watch this Breakout Session, register for the 14th Annual European CME Forum (held virtually 3-5 November 2021) and you will gain access to the complete archive of the 13th Annual European CME Forum, consisting of all the Plenary and Breakout sessions.

Our webpage also has a wealth of information and offers the largest resource on CME in Europe, covering our 13 years of activities with reports and presentations from over 240 hours of live presentations and workshops. Find out more at cmeforum.org
