Tiana catches up with Takisha Jacobs, mental health advocate and co-founder of Connect to be the Change, a non profit focused on providing alternative ways to respond to trauma other than physical violence.
Like so many other black women, Takisha has faced tremendous obstacles due to racism, sexism, classism, and more. Through her resiliency and determination, she has been able to navigate society’s ills and live a fulfilled life helping the most vulnerable population; the youth.
