I personally built an entire company (and sold it) off the back of joint ventures alone and continue to use them in my consulting practice (as should you). They say that "big doors swing on little hinges" and this is demonstrated in strategic JV's.

Meet Sohail Khan...Sohail is the founder of The Joint Venture Group. Prior to starting The Joint Venture Group he built a multi-million dollar Internet training business with only $1,000 that he eventually went on to sell the majority stake in to $150 million dollar IT company. After the IT company went bust in 2008, Sohail lost everything but retained his knowledge and expertise that he’d gained from building a business with over $10 million dollars in sales using joint ventures. Without a product, business or capital he closed his biggest JV to date and went from zero to 4 million customers just 30 days. In 2014, Sohail published his #1 International best-selling book with the late great Jay Conrad Levinson title “Guerilla Marketing and Joint Ventures”.
