At nineteen years old, Moe Abbas founded his first two companies. Since then he has founded or co-founded over a dozen startups which, over the last 10 years, have employed thousands. At 26 he won the NKBA 30 under 30 award and was the youngest ever recipient of the OBJ 40 Under 40 Award. He is a Co-Founder of the Canadian General Contractors Group which in 5 years he led from a basement office to Canada’s leading residential design build company with $20 million in sales.
Today, Moe is on a mission to transform education from the ground up. He is inspired by the hidden potential in relationships between students and business and wants to unlock that potential. To realize his goal, Moe founded GenM back in 2016. GenM is a free education system providing students with free courses, apprenticeships with vetted business owners, certifications, and opportunities to earn money as freelancers on the platform.
Moe has revolutionized what it means to outsource business details while investing in the next generation of entrepreneurs and he invites you to be a part of what he’s built.
