To begin, make yourself comfortable with all the support you need, laying on your couch, recliner or yoga mat (-OR- your bed, if for the purpose of sleep). Grab a blanket and some pillows creating a sacred space for your practice. It is said that only 45 minutes of Yoga Nidra is equivalent to 3-4 hours of sleep, making Nidra a physiological sigh of relief for your whole self.

This guided sleep meditation takes you through a restorative body scan connecting with your breath, your emotions, your creative ability, and ultimately your whole self. Yogic sleep invites you to move from the activated state of stress and anxiety to a state of rest, digest and restoration; a calming of the parasympathetic nervous system. So let's begin.
