Alex talks about his personal experience of religious trauma as a child and how we went from a staunch disbeliever in God to a man who embraces spirituality in all aspects of his life.  He shares about being a self-identified "recovering asshole" and many of the ways he uses to access God on a daily basis.  We share a quality that we both love about ourselves - an ability to be a deeply spiritual person while also being able to go be silly and human in the world, whether it's hanging out having a few drinks in the bar or laughing at fart jokes with kids.
