Episode description
It was hard for me to name and describe this episode because like Fayzan himself, it’s not easily defined or put into a box–which is the beauty of it. In his own words, he exists at the border of many different worlds, Islam and Christianity, medicine and coaching–to name but a few. A lovely human with so much to share and with nothing but gentle humility while he shares it.
Fayzan Rab PCC is a personal and professional development coach who has 100+ hours of experience working with engineers, designers, and executives to improve their presence, navigate their career, and to have the home run moments that allow them to have the fullest experience of their life and work. Prior to becoming a coach, Fayzan worked at Google as a Product Lead and was the most rapidly promoted person in his organization for his tenure. He was asked by the former director of the National Institute of Mental Health to build out the product team at Mindstrong Health, a Series C $100M biotechnology startup. Fayzan found his way into Accomplishment Coaching's yearlong training program when he felt a draw to work closer to people to help them achieve their personal and professional goals. Fayzan is currently in medical school looking at the intersection between coaching and healthcare. When Fayzan is not coaching, he is going for a bike ride, helping someone register to vote, or reading the most recent Haruki Murakami novel.
