Episode description
Part 1 of 3: We look into the fun facts about Greek theatre along with its relation to Italian literature and the Commedia Dell'arte before wrapping up with the unpleasantness of talented young tenors.
I have always had a passion for the theatre. It’s one of those things that had such a large impact in my life, that I can’t imagine what I would be like without those experiences. On today’s three part episode, we look into the history of the stage, the origins of theatrical terminology, and the present day fun facts that abound. From the first plays performed in ancient Greece, through what constitutes a “Broadway” theatre; we’ll even explore why I think the proper spelling is always “theatre.”
