In this 6th in the celebratory mini-series of the podcast, my guest for this episode is Marvin Reid.

Marvin Reid, is an international Business Coach, Speaker, trainer, and consultant to blue-chip companies. With over 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, branding and social media, Marvin has successfully grown businesses to more than 7 figures and has been involved in winning over £500 million pounds worth of business.

Via his company Volume 2, his commitment to business owners worldwide and his ‘no entrepreneur left behind policy’, has helped thousands of entrepreneurs across many sectors transform their businesses to achieve their desired vision and, in many cases, go beyond it.

When you’re younger you think that money is limited. But then as you get older, as you do more in business, you realise that there's there's money everywhere. It's just a case of building out a strategy to sort and make sure it finds its way to you. 

For Marvin wealth means his family, connections, and relationships. Money is important, sure, but it’s not the be all and end all.

Money should be the enabler of all the dreams that you have in terms of creating a life that you are proud of and the life that you have no regrets. And it should be about focusing on the legacy that you leave behind, not in terms of a financial legacy, but more people remembering the things that you did, and the way you made them feel.

A lot of people drift along through life. But to be successful, you have to have a plan. And have a complete self awareness and be extremely aware of everything’s going on. You make one choice, left or right. Create a roadmap and clarify your vision. 

You can have the best strategy in the world, or the best strategist present you with how to have the most successful business. But if you don't have the mindset to believe you can deliver on that strategy, the outcome will be what the outcome was meant to be, then you're never ever going to have that success. 

You don't get confident because you have the right relationship with money, you get the right relationship with money, because you have self confidence.

Success is never going to be a linear one and never going to be an easy one. But if you keep plowing and keep plugging away at it, then you are going to get to where you are to where you want to in this journey of life.
