In this last episode in this celebratory mini-series of the podcast, my guest is Charlie Mullins OBE.

Charlie is known as Britain's flushest tradesman and the celebrated founder of the celebrated Pimlico Plumbers. Last year, in search of new beginnings he sold his business for a cool £145m.

Now the man who was once a former business advisor to David Cameron and George Osborne, is a columnist in the Star newspaper and a talking head for broadcast media on business and political affairs.

Since selling his business, Charlie has invested in and become the chairman of Great British Radio - a radio station without any (bad) news bulletins designed to cheer up the nation with its roster of comedy, music and celebrity interviews. He has further expanded his property portfolio and invested in the musical career of his fiancée - the singer songwriter RaRa, who is about to release her debut album.

Money doesn't make make you. It only changes you if you allow it to change you.

It’s important to seek the evidence of what you want to achieve.

Opportunities are out there. You can’t expect to earn great money if you’re not putting yourself out there. Be visible and work hard, it’s one of the ingredients of being successful.
