Zali Steggall OAM MP
Zali is an Independent Federal Member of Parliament for Warringah. Zali is a powerful advocate for social and political change, especially around issues that are important to her community. These include advocating for climate action, as well as greater honesty and accountability in parliament around promises made in election campaigns. Zali grew up in Manly and represented Australia in four Olympic Games in alpine skiing. Post retirement from international sporting competition, Zali trained as a lawyer and became a successful barrister specialising in sports and family law. Following this she entered politics as an independent in 2019 and the rest is history.
