James Martin
James is a Senior Lecturer at Deakin University. He specialises in Criminology and more specifically cryptomarkets, illicit drugs, the dark web, cyber and organised crime. James started out as a researcher embedded in the vigilante underworld in Johannesburg. After finishing his PhD fieldwork, James found that the Dark Web offered him a unique opportunity to study criminal behaviour and the new generation of drug dealers and kingpins going online.
