In this episode, Rebecca Jones is joined by the president and CEO of Goodwill San Diego, Toni Giffin. Giffin explains how she became CEO as well as her role in the company but goes on to explain how goodwill is much more than a company that sells used goods and that its main purpose is to help employ and provide services to select people such as those with disabilities. Giffin also describes herself as steady and creative and explains that these two different characteristics have allowed her to be successful in her multiple different careers. She also talks about how she measures her own success by the positive changes that she is a part of as well as the kind of culture she creates as a leader for her employees.
The episode ends with Toni Giffin encouraging young women not to be afraid of being themselves and not live their lives for anyone else but themselves.
