Episode description

With more than 16 million cars on the streets in Indonesia per day, the automotive servicing industry in the country is now worth around US$16 billion. It is ripe for massive disruption, as auto repair and service shops across the nation are riddled with internal and customer experience problems.

These  can range from car owners receiving fake spare parts to being greatly overcharged by service providers in general. Meanwhile, the repair service providers themselves (the vast majority of which are MSMEs) suffer from other pain points. They must routinely cope with inconsistent lead generation, a lack of organization and efficiency in their back office bookkeeping, and a misunderstanding of how to accurately forecast things like revenue and demand.

Today, we are excited to be joined by Martin Reyhan, co-founder and CEO of Otoklix. Otoklix is an O2O auto servicing platform that has helped thousands of independent workshops in Indonesia source customers and operate more effectively.
