How is your reader outreach going? This episode unwraps the importance of creating a strong reader connection as part of selling more books, with fun, creative tips to help you build your tribe and get more readers recommending your books to their networks!

The real focus when it comes to being able to sell more books really needs to be about making connections with readers and building relationships.

Books are personal, and I want to believe authors are also readers, and in their heart of hearts, as much as they want to make money by publishing, they can still keep that personal connection they have with books in mind too.

Focus on your audience and understanding your audience. 

Network with readers on Goodreads, being an active fan of your genre matters.

Get involved locally with your libraries, book groups, seasonal and community events.

Be unique and memorable with your website content, including your bonus content, and on Amazon, personalized touches are important.

Run giveaways and promotions that give back to dedicated followers and people who engage with you. BOGOs are great, that’s “buy one give one”.

Be a resource, if you write non-fiction that’s a bit more straightforward, if you write fiction, recommend books and or lifestyle products that fit the theme of your work.
