Yes, on the Ep we celebrated Russell’s new concept, St.Nigel’s Day - the day upon which it became mathematically impossible for the great unwashed from Slumhurst to overtake us in the current season. May the 4th be with you lads (yes it was Star Wars Day too so something of a total eclipse of the heart one might say!
However it was as good as done already thanks to a vastly superior goal difference - not the only thing vastly superior about our team over theirs.
And as if that wasn’t enough, we only went and beat England’s most over privileged team with a last second penalty to complete a historic first double over these VARstly entitled bunch of whatsits to ram their gloating fans’ songs right back down their throats for good measure.
What a moment! What a night!
