In this week's podcast episode, we talk with Clem Newton-Brown, the Founder and CEO of Skyportz.  Clem served as Melbourne's Deputy Lord Mayor from 1999 to 2001.

He has an extensive experience in government relations, critical strategy, politics in general, tourism, planning, consulting, and project management, which enables him to play a significant role in his current position in developing Skyportz, the company creating the framework for air taxis and freight drones.

We discuss his role at Skyportz, the future of air taxis, and how the property industry would affect developers and landowners and choosing sites that will accommodate the advanced of vertical ports (or verti ports) from which these drones would launch once the technology becomes available - and the opportunity this presents the property industry.

Amongst other things, in this podcast we discussed:

  • The future of eVTOL (electronic Vertical Take-off and Landing) aviation
  • How the Property industry plays a vital role in the revolution of aviation
  • Plan for Caribbean park as the landing spot - and modular buildings
  • The challenges developing the infrastructure of eVTOL transport

If you have an interest in the Melbourne property industry and the future of vertical take-off and landing aviation and the role the property industry will play, then have a listen.
