In this week's podcast, we talk with Aaron McEwan – a Psychologist, Business Coach, Strategic Advisor, and Vice President for Research & Advisory at Gartner, a specialist consulting organization within the HR space.

Aaron is about as well placed a specialist as anyone in Australia to discuss the future of work conditions in a post pandemic world and relate his knowledge to the Construction and Property industries.

We spoke at length about Hybrid work conditions, the effects that might have on Property and Construction industries and the layout of cities.  We also spoke about the work environment, the future of work culture, leadership, The Great Resignation and employee attrition and engagement with their employers.

Amongst other things, in this podcast we discussed:

  • Impact of the pandemic on the Australian talent organization
  • The Great Resignation - employee attrition
  • Working from home - why employees seek it
  • Hybrid working model - the advantage it can give employers
  • The future of office spaces and the need to create 'an experience' for employees
If you are interest in what makes employees 'tick' in a post pandemic lockdown society, what the future of the workplace and working models look like - you'll find this a really fascinating view on the future workplace for construction and property professionals.
