Rabbi Yossi Wilhelm and his wife Miriam Ester moved to Knoxville, TN in 2001 to help serve Knoxville's Jewish community. They now serve as directors of Chabad of Knoxville ... and although his wife, Miriam vowed that she'd never be "involved in a school," they both realized that there was a real need for one .... So, together they founded "The Stanford Eisenberg Knoxville Jewish Day School."
Because of the influence of his parents, Eddie Mannis employs and understands the value of "Hard Work" and "Service." He's a Very successful Entrepreneur and Business Owner who's served his community Very well. He's accomplished a lot...including representing constituents in both City and State Government...but it's his service to Local Veterans that is his Greatest accomplishment. Since founding HonorAir Knoxville, he and his team has served over 4200 Veterans by flying them to Washington, D.C....
As a cadet with the Knoxville Police Department, David Rausch knew he wanted to be Chief of Police. After meeting that goal and desire, he now serves as Director for the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Director Rausch's life story and journey is a true example of the power of belief, hard work, drive, heart, faith and Possibility.
Amanda "Mrs. A" Atchley is a phenomenal educator who is beloved by all of her students and colleagues. She recently earned the Sevier County, TN Teacher of the Year award, but the journey to receiving that award didn't come without its challenges.
