It is not wrong for you to depend on your “Elijah” for as long as God gives him to you. But remember that the time will come when he must leave and will no longer be your guide and your leader, because God does not intend for him to stay. Even the thought of that causes you to say, “I cannot continue without my ‘Elijah.’ ” Yet God says you must continue. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dhlministries/support...
Choosing to suffer means that there must be something wrong with you, but choosing God’s will— even if it means you will suffer— is something very different. No normal, healthy saint ever chooses suffering; he simply chooses God’s will, just as Jesus did, whether it means suffering or not. And no saint should ever dare to interfere with the lesson of suffering being taught in another saint’s life. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dhlministries/support...
Is the Son of God being given His opportunity to work in me? Is the direct simplicity of His life being worked out in me exactly as it was worked out in His life while here on earth? When I come into contact with the everyday occurrences of life as an ordinary human being, is the prayer of God’s eternal Son to His Father being prayed in me? --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dhlministries/support...

There is nothing abstract or obscure in the Bible; everything is vivid and real. God does not say, “Be spiritual,” but He says, “Walk before Me…” (Genesis 17:1). --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dhlministries/support
There is nothing miraculous or mysterious about the things we can explain. We control what we are able to explain, consequently it is only natural to seek an explanation for everything. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dhlministries/support

Belief in Jesus is a miracle produced only by the effectiveness of redemption, not by impressive speech, nor by wooing and persuading, but only by the sheer unaided power of God. The creative power of redemption comes through the preaching of the gospel, but never because of the personality of the preacher. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dhlministries/support

Fill your mind with the thought that God is there. And once your mind is truly filled with that thought, when you experience difficulties it will be as easy as breathing for you to remember, “My heavenly Father knows all about this!” --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dhlministries/support
The church ceases to be spiritual when it becomes self-seeking, only interested in the development of its own organization. The reconciliation of the human race according to God's plan means realizing Him not only in our lives individually, but also in our lives collectively. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dhlministries/support
The Holy Spirit is determined that we will have the realization of Jesus Christ in every area of our lives, and He will bring us back to the same point over and over again until we do. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dhlministries/support

When God gives me a vision of truth, there is never a question of what He will do, but only of what I will do. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dhlministries/support
If we are going to live as disciples of Jesus, we have to remember that all Efforts of Worth and Excellence Are Difficult. The Christian life is gloriously difficult, but its difficulty does not make us faint or cave in - it stirs us up to overcome! --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dhlministries/support

We always have a vision of something before it actually becomes real to us. When we realize that the vision is real, but it is not yet real in us, satan comes to us with his temptations, and we are inclined to say that there is no point in even trying to continue. Instead of the vision becoming real to us, we have entered into a valley of humiliation. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dhlministries/support...
God seems to have a delightful way of upsetting the plans we have made, when we have not taken Him into account. We get ourselves into circumstances that were not chosen by God, and suddenly we realize that we have been making our plans without Him - that we have not even considered Him to be a vital, living factor in the planning of our lives. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dhlministries/support...

Discipleship means personal, passionate devotion to a Person— our Lord Jesus Christ. There is a vast difference between devotion to a person and devotion to principles or to a cause. Many of us who call ourselves Christians are not truly devoted to Jesus Christ. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dhlministries/support
There is no heaven that has a little corner of hell in it. God is determined to make you pure, holy, and right, and He will not allow you to escape from the scrutiny of the Holy Spirit for even one moment. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/dhlministries/support

"…I am with you to deliver you," says the Lord. —Jeremiah 1:8 God promised Jeremiah that He would deliver him personally— “…your life shall be as a prize to you…” (Jeremiah 39:18).
