2020 Predictions
The best predictor of the immediate future is the immediate past:
1. Know the fundamentals: great product, great price, great listing, great brand with solid demand
2. More states will collect sales tax for us. Sales tax might be an issue we can start to get around
3. PPC will be king! Amazon wants to be the top advertiser in the world. It will offer more targeting options. Closer to Google platform.
4. Reviews! Kill Fakes and be ruthless
5. Voice will be even bigger!
What will be different in 2020:
6. Amazon will take even more control of its customers. The seller to customer email platform will go away
7. Anti-trust / pro seller politics will force Amazon to be less suspension happy
8. Non-Amazon marketplaces will start to emerge as awesome online marketplaces
9. Search Find Buy will start to go away because it is so in fashion now
10. Launches will be mostly Amazon PPC and "list" sales: influencer or your own list.
