Cassie McGovern lost her 19month old daughter, Edna Mae in a drowning accident in 2009. Since that day, Cassie has committed her life to raising awareness of water safety, drowning prevention and organ donation through her non-profit organization, the McGovern Foundation, Inc. Through her foundation, Cassie has helped hundreds with swim lessons, CPR training, Life Guard/ Water Safety Instructor Certification Scholarships and Pool Fences. She shares her story with the hope of saving lives.
