¶ Intro / Opening
Hello and welcome to another episode of Words With My Soul.
¶ Introduction to Language Power
If you get punched in the arm really hard you're going to notice it's going to hurt the effects of it are going to be really noticeable immediately you're going to notice that there's pain in your arm that's gone red maybe even bruising however if you were to get punched really lightly so much that you barely even felt it you probably wouldn't mind as much and you wouldn't really notice any side effects from it you wouldn't think oh god i'm taking damage to my arm or that's really hurt
that's going to leave a mark you would just kind of brush it off as if nothing happened but if you were to get that same punch repeatedly not only would it get really aggravating and annoying it would also start to hurt over time your arm would eventually begin to ache and soar and rub and eventually you'd want it to stop because you'd started noticing the effects of those small little punches there are lots of things like this things that at micro level seem insignificant.
Inconsequential and unimportant but at a macro level when we zoom out and look at effects over time we can see that there is a much more dramatic impact than we may initially think for instance smoking if you smoke one cigarette you might be unaffected and not think it's a bad thing but a lifetime of smoking can cause serious damage so we know that short-term damage even if it's not obvious can still be harmful and one of the most overlooked ways that
we harm ourselves every day in a small way that is unnoticeable but huge at a macro level is the words that we use we have known about the power of words for millennia. Recently, the importance of words has been watered down. It's become something that we take quite lightly and we don't put much thought or precision on the words that we use. But every single word is unique and has its own vibration.
This vibration very much impacts our outer world. It doesn't just affect us, it carries out into the universe.
¶ The Banana Test
We can see its effects by there's a banana test where you say horrible words to a banana in one room really lovely words to a banana in another room and leave another banana alone in a different room and when we see how they degrade the one that gets shouted at and said horrible things to degrades really fast and becomes moldy and inedible the one that is left alone soon follows suit and becomes moldy and inedible but the one that was said nice things the one that was praised the
one that had all of those positive vibrational words given to it stayed healthier and riper for longer and.
Even without that we know that everything is vibration and we know that words are vibration so we can see how one vibration would have a ripple effect on all the other vibrations and that's why we can say certain words and feel an uplift we say something like awesome or beautiful or amazing and we can feel ourselves being lifted up whereas we can say something like terrible or depressing or horrific and it pulls you down there is this vibrational quality to
the words that we use and it is observable if you're willing to look because the truth of it is every word that you use all those sentences that you speak are all spells you are incanting you are chanting you are performing magic when you speak those words have a quality a vibrational quality and not all words are equal. Not all words will elevate you. Some words pull you down, as we've just evidenced. There is a reason why most slang, or the language of the lower class, is often negative.
All of the words they use, even the positive ones, are negative forms of what they're saying. All these words that we associate with negative connotations, like wicked and bad, sick, shit, they're all negative words that are used in a positive light.
But those words still carry their vibrational quality they're still low vibrational words and this is by design throughout history education and language has been gatekept by the ruling class they have wanted the peasants to use specific low-grade language and provide poor education to keep them poor so they wanted them using impowerful words words that didn't liberate them or excel them or bring them up. Words that kept them down.
And nothing has changed. If you look at royalty now or the 1% or the ruling class, they all speak very specifically. They all use certain words because they know the power behind these words. They are taught it. And they don't want you to know. They don't want you to be powerful and be able to be eloquent and verbose and be able to describe things very beautifully and be persuasive with your language, they don't want you to have any of that.
They want to keep all of that power for themselves, but they don't do it by force. They don't take away your ability to learn.
¶ The Impact of Slang
They simply make it so that everything that you see, all of the language that's used in movies and TV and radio songs.
Most of the things that you observe and the conversations that you will hear and the topics that are being discussed is low vibrational and then when you're quoting those movie lines or you're singing those songs you are repeating those spells and when you think about some of the mantras that you might think if you really look at the hooks of some songs or the choruses they say some outrageous stuff that you probably would never be repeating to yourself or hopefully would never
repeat to yourself if you weren't singing a song but you are still chanting those words and now we don't see them as important but if you saw them as you should see them as spells as powerful language that every word that leaves your mouth should be intentional but instead what we'll see is people going to concerts and singing along with choruses that are all talking about killing themselves.
And that's common. That's something that's not even looked twice at, because our perception of the importance of words has become skewed. We have almost become sloppy and careless with what we say. We don't act with any kind of precision or choice. We just say things for the sake of saying things. We might make jokes about ourselves and call it banter, but really we're just saying horrible stuff to each other.
It could be that when we are describing our dreams and aspirations and writing down our goals, we are inaccurate and unable to eloquently describe what we actually want to say.
It works as a sort of devil's wishes type scenario where you're given wishes but if you are not able to describe exactly and precisely what you want then it won't come as you expect it or want it to come it will come as you literally said it so if you're going to ask for a load of cool shit you better be prepared to receive a load of refrigerated turds there is so much to say about the power of language the negatives the
positives how you can use it for your advantage and how it can be your disadvantage but there's far too much to cover for one episode, but I want you to really think about the words that you use.
¶ Analyzing Your Words
I just want you to start off by analysing the words that you say. Take a back seat in your brain and when you start to say things or you're having conversations, just think about what you're saying. Maybe just observe at the start. Just watch what you currently do and get a good feel for a baseline of the words that you're currently using. See how those words make you feel. See if you can notice whether they lift you up or you feel a bit brought down by them.
See if they invoke any emotion or reaction. Maybe they make you anxious or fearful or angry. Maybe they make you happy and joyous and laugh. Look at the micro. Look at each individual word and look at the sentences and paragraphs as a whole.
Analyze the timing and the reasoning behind those words it may be that you're constantly saying sorry that's a really common one where people will be apologizing for everything it may be that you're constantly using negative words only when you're referring to yourself there is so much to learn just through the words that you use and in fact when having a conversation with someone you can often tell a considerable amount
of information just by the way someone talks just by how they reference things, how they explain or what viewpoint they take. I promise you that after doing this, after working with me on improving your language, on understanding the benefits and the power of language, you will understand exactly why this is so important.
¶ Communication’s Role in Life
You will see how communication affects every single part of your life, How the words that you use How you speak to yourself, to the world, to God To your family, to your loved ones, to your friends. Those words that you use, impact the entirety of your life. They decide whether you are confident. They decide whether you are fearful or anxious. They decide whether you take action or don't take action. Some people have defeated themselves into their goals before they even start.
They might say, oh, I'd really love to do that, but I couldn't do that. Not even I'm afraid to do that or I worry about doing that.
It's I can't do it it's an impossibility it's an incomplete limitation and that simple turn of phrase that simple changing of a single word can completely change the entirety of the outcome fear or worry can be overcome an impossible limitation cannot be if you cannot do it you cannot do it that that's a final that's a statement I can't do it that's a I can't do this now or ever. Whereas if you acknowledge the problem and you say, I'm afraid to do this, that's something that can be changed.
That's something that can be worked at and solved. It's so important to use the right language. And I'm not even sure if you would have noticed earlier, but I said understand instead of understand. Because even when you look at the etymology of words, I don't want to understand something.
I don't want to stand under this information or this person that's telling me something I don't want to understand someone I don't want to stand under someone else I don't want them to have authority over me I want to understand it I want to look inwards and truly know the knowledge for myself and this is something that I got from the old school Rastas which are one of the best examples of specific language if you go and look at Rastafari talk and see how they choose their words see how they are
very specific and precise with the language that they use because they know the importance of it. They know how powerful those words that they are using are.
¶ Language Across Civilizations
And you don't have to take my word for it. You can see that every civilization. Every religion, every leader or business owner, they all know how powerful words are. And they all tell it in their own different ways. Civilizations have secret societies that use specific words or spells or chants.
Religions have mantras and prayers. things like doublespeak are rife in politics and anyone that's tried to sell something or market themselves understands that certain language is going to have a better effect than other language in a big way the words that a company choose to use and how they market themselves can very much dictate whether it's a successful company or not so when you look and you see that all of these things,
all of these aspects of life, all of these people in positions of power or royalty or wealth, they're all saying that words are important. They may not directly say it, they might not tell you it, but in their actions, in what they do and in the words that they choose for themselves, you will see the power of language. Thank you for listening.
