HerStory | Confessions of a Former Runway Model — with Jennifer Strickland

Allie welcomes author, speaker and former international model Jennifer Strickland to share her story for our new "HerStory" testimony series. Jen first shares three tips to help us through this uncertain time in our nation with everything going on with the Coronavirus.

Jen modeled from eight years-old to twenty-two. At the height of her career, she walked the runway for Giorgio Armani; appeared in Vogue, Glamour, Seventeen, and Cosmopolitan; and did campaigns for Oil of Olay, Converse, Mercedes Benz, Eddie Bauer and Jordache.

During this time, she battled an eating disorder, depression, and her heart hit rock bottom. In Europe, some people invited her to church and she began reading the Bible for the first time. In those tattered pages, she found a relationship with God who valued her more than she ever imagined. Be encouraged by Jen's story to know that God can heal and redeem the most broken parts of your life for His good and glory.
