Educational Renaissance w/ Tiffany Gilmore

Superintendent Tiffany Gilmore is creating the world she wishes to live in. She disrupted her mainstream educational experience by creating her own school. Garvey Allen Academy is a school that prepares young people for real life, on a very transparent level in which the students have a voice too. They're allowed to ask why, and the approach transcends the copy/paste of the mainstream education system.

Being part of the mainstream education system as a teacher and as an administrator, Tiffany Gilmore knew it wasn't it for her. Forcing children into one way of doing things never felt good, and being the enforcer for the "how" was a one last straw moment for her.

Tiffany and Amy explore soul callings, sharing how Tiffany was able to chart her own path and open up a school in STEAM for young kids - to get their buy in on their own education and sharing the 'why' behind our societal expectations. This approach allows for individual attunement rather than a broad brush to allow for the unique brilliance to shine through.
