Beverly and I befriended each other season one on Insatiable. She played Stellar Rose uh, and we just hit it off. You were so great on that show. Well, thank you. I'm sorry that you got murdered because it would have been fun to hang out with you again. Well you know, but here I am. Did you know a lot of

your scenes were with Debbie Ryan. That's delightful. Debbie and Dallas and Queen love her. How could we not love her? And you're also friends with our friend Lauren Lakis. You are in a movie you did wear in the Unicorn with her and our friend Lace Pass. Yes, I am night. I mean you can't go wrong with that. And you've been listening to the podcast, but you were like, I

want to do the podcast. I've never watched The Bachelor, and I was like, why why don't we start with Paradise the great the most important television show on Earth and you're all in now, I mean, so let's get started. Before we get going, we want to address one former controversy. Hannah. Apparently last week Tyler Tyler, I guess went and spent

the night at Hannah's. There was pictures of him leaving her apartment, and then like two nights later he was in Brooklyn with Gigi Hadid at the Soho house and then he had another Davis. It was hard to watch some woman blow it so hard with such a handsome man that was paying fall to watch, like he's so out of her hands. Reached now the wrong she picked the wrong guy. What about Dylan? I mean, Dylan is the sweetest guy ever. Dylan. Well, we're not talking. We're

talking about Hannah the other hand I Hannah the Bachelorette. Yes, there's two Hannahs. So it was the Handah that picked the wrong bachelor and then the hot guy that she liked in thee the Bachelorette. She picked the bachelor who actually had a girlfriend. H Yeah, and now Beverly's versed in Bachelor in Paradise. Yes, it's right, you know, when the period of but you know, I mean, but you're but you know what everybody's Debbie entered as a rookie.

She was our rookie last season, and now you're our rookie this season. You're Rookie of the Year twenty nineteen. And I'm constantly asking them to remind me who is who? Okay, well that's the hand is like, because I don't know what there's Hanna got a hand. There's been like four Ashley's before. There's like it's it's it's not easy, and everyone's spelled different score kind overall the first two nights, I mean, how do we feel about Paradise so far?

I think it's going to be a fun one. Yeah, I think it's great so Far's he reminds me so on his season he was sort of like the sweet pea that got that got bro. He made it to the second like he proposed, he made it to the final two, and he was sort of the nice guy, kind of dork gear and she picked more of the alpha male and we've seen this happen a few times.

We're sort of the nice guys. I think a lot of women are like, oh, he's safe, he's sweet, and I feel like he went on a Poonanni tear for the last twelve months and then like because all of a sudden, I think every woman thinks he's like the safe guy, but then like they don't know, so he's using that. I think he's sort of James Taylor, like poonany like surfing the p of ams. We did this podcast in Nashville years ago and this guy that we thought was so nice, a singer songwriter named James Taylor,

and we saw he came and joined us. Yeah, you're not going to change that, good idea, there you go. He told us he's left with two hundred women that year. Yeah, since he was on the Bachelor. So that it's just what women are constantly throwing themselves. But isn't that really kind of the Well, why don't you know? I think it's about social media. I think that they're that they're kind of like, going with this guy, make me move money if by hook up with him, because higher profile.

I mean, that's not and we can get the marriage paid for in the baby stuff. Well, with James Taylor wouldn't be because he wasn't so popular, but I actually think with Blake it actually would be good. It would be increases their social media things. What those people do what people do their Instagram people, that's that's how they

make their money. So I think they go on the hunt not just for like, you know, the thing that's down with things, but I think that they go on the hunt to figure out now by hook up with him my you know, my social media prison a picture of us at stage coach and suddenly I'm like getting paid five. I think you're rights and stuff. It's it's an analytical and downer point of view, and it does not interfere with the fun working. Okay. I also think

it's probably apt and those are enterprising young people. Let's looking at that way there. And to make your money, you go one year? You do you got one year? Not even you've got like six months. So it's like, yeah, you're right, why not? Um okay, So we have he's ok starting off, we have Tasha and she's like, bitch, I'm going to paradise. I'm ready and um and that was the one that springs out of the greenery and the leopard print that oh my god, Yeah, that's that's you.

That's your little brand. Yeah. I I found the first night, like the first st the intro intros, the one intro that really stood out to me with Jane drinking, like if you're if you're my god, like a blow job, then what wants that in there? You mean your it's signals, it's how can I First of all, she ye, we we just need something brushing the teeth with the hot that the egg, the egg, the amount of the eggs. I was like, if that somebody tweeted us like something

really crazy? Now is that's your thing? You're so desperate, it's crazy. I think a producer was like, let's spice this up, like you know, would be funny brush your teeth? Oh my god? And I just say I would be. I would be the person that would be completelyipulated by a producer. I would have been the person, the fool that they would be like, this is a great idea. I would have been the dummy. And I would have known in my heart of hearts, like it really doesn't

feel right, but I let them talk to me. But it works. It works for those people. They will continue now back on Nachelor in Paradise if they make an impression, and the producer's job is to make sure they make an impression. Jane was the one that we were obsessed with that we thought was going to be crazy because it's not her real name. Her name was Adrian. Jane says Adrian quote Jane, it's like anybody that changes, like a perfectly fine name. Adrian is a nice lady's name.

And then to Jane, it's like what witness protected call me? Jane? Jane, Jane, how I go on the same look like the same person. Then, yeah, it's like the catalog they often do. There's a lot of Hannah's, there's a lot of Laurens actally um. So then we have Blake. We see Blake. He's doing push ups and really bad shorts. He was short. He did three pushups and looked directly in the camera by accident,

and they're like demi push ups. There he is really He also looks like he's been drinking a lot on his Poon tour, and he's trying to get back in shape, not as badly as Kevin's been whipping himself into shape for Paradise. Kevin. When Kevin whipped off his shirt for Chris Sarrison but then put the shirt back on inside out. Kevin the one who kisses his muscle and his Yeah, yeah, that's really sexy. So then we have we've got Cam he's doing a wrap. He's overhanalyzed. I can't be he's

that He's back Demi. I love Demi, but she was so excited. The producers are feeling like you're trying to get like hip and young. It's like we found someone who's fluid and like having her chat with Hannah like I fall in love with who I love and like Chris hin Hannah having to like at cool, having to keep her face like having to I think she was that demo. And also the way that Blake is supposed to be like the symbol of me too or something like yeah, yeah, we'll get to Blake in a second.

It's an interesting conundrum with Blake. Yes, there's a lot of we'll get there, we'll get there. So then we have Clay Um Clay, he says, I who should have no controversy. I tried to make it in my NFL career and it didn't work out. Didn't not work out because he broke his wrist. I think he wasn't very good to begin with. I don't think he was like a big player, and maybe he just got cut, maybe he did get injured. I don't think it was because he was saying he was a free agent, so he

may not have gotten picked up again. Okay, so then we have Nicole. She has all of her tissues, she's packing, she's working out, and she's lifting Halo Top things of ice cream. I mean again, remember they gave her the lifetime support or a year supply of Halo ice cream? Why? Why? Because she cried so much on Colt season that they were like, oh my god, and I like that. Yeah, you're the only person who would remember that. I guess she still had to work out with Halo. Halo Top

has really taken over my life. Chris, Chris Bukowski, he's back, coming out of retirement. It says he's thirty one. I mean, he's a handsome guy. He's the same age as Blake, but like he's a disaster. He got addicted to fame, he quit the show and now he's bad. Hasn't he

done six six? Yea? Yeah, that was painful, this retirement for real, And so we were all waiting with bated breath to find out what his next move would you can't say, just sort of like the idea of what you were saying with like them sort of trying to get magazine covers. He's so far out of the yeah that he's like and nobody would care with him because he's not current not he's retirement age. Here it's actually it's thirty one. I think it did say. I think

that Chiron does say thirty two. The first the first night, I think it's said thirty one, and then the second night, I think it's said thirty two. Every episode we reach his actual age. He said he was on what was Emily Maynard and twelve, Yeah, that's when we first um so. Then the first person at the beach is little Hannah Gee Ferby Ferby, and she she's she's grown on me. She's pretty cute. She actually has a nice personality. You know, well,

we're not there yet. So she goes. They feel star struck by paradise, and then Blake came down and she's like, you know, I Blake and I've been talking. I'm excited that he's going to be there. In our minds. That's like a nice couple. We don't know yet, we don't know yet what's about to happen. It's like, oh, here

comes Blake. He was in the school shooting. His mom left, his mom left his dad for the gym teacher and like his dad, and his dad was really handsome and the gym teacher looked like Walace Shawn Like, so then like for then we have we have um. People are super into Tasia and Tassia's talking to somebody and she says, I'm a vibes girl. You have good vibes, good energy.

Remind me is down to final two? Yeah, he cut Hannah, she was in the final three, Final three, and then we cut Hannah in the hotel room and yeah, and then Tassia had to comfort him. Yea. So then Kevin took a shirt off and then and then all he got all he couldn't believe he'd starved himself and worked himself and he was so psyched. And Chris Harrison was like, you're so pale, and he was like, like you forgot to get a spring tan. He works out four hours

a dead chunky. I don't remember what was in the army then a veteran is an army reserve. Yeah, they all just try and get so buff because they'll be shirtless full time in Paradise. I mean, I don't like it. Look crazy. It's like shooting a Marvel movie. You take your shirt off for the first week while you're buff and then the rest of the season. If I was drinking that much, I would gain at least twelve pounds that much, Like I couldn't sit around not exercising, drinking

that much in the sun, eating like chats. It would not anywhere have new rules though after they were in it's too but it's still to an hour. You two drinks an hour because people were being shrink lose yourself drinks. You're right, I cat stay slim with party. Um So then he goes he goes, wow, look at it here. It's so beautiful. It's like it's like to the infinity of what looks like Earth the water, like I don't know if he's a rocket scientist. They're walking snapchats, yeah

they are so. Then his um Wells goes, wow, your torso proportions are quite something. He's like, I've been working out like he does. You know, I'm really proud with how it worked. Like he was so he's always like that attractive, just got attractive face, he got nice jawline, like they're like, yeah, good shoulder blades walking. I was like, what they got a nice eyebrowed bullin Good Birth and Hips.

So um, someone else has arrived. And then we see Blake is carrying Hannah around, but Wills has a plan for Hannah. We are two Wills. He did our part. Yeah, we liked Wills. We liked I still like Wells. Wills kept doing like humanitarian work. You had Wills here. We had Wills and Wells. We've had both Wills and Wells and yeah, yeah an Elice in San Franance, Yeah, and Wills. We had Will well Well, we had Wells. We had Wells on in Nashville and Will Wills on in Sara

Sarano and Analysan in San Francio. We also had Wells on in San Francisco. We did remember that we did Stance in the park. Yes, well Well has done it. He's actually I really I think the bartender. Yeah, I love it. I love Yeah. I was going to ask about him. Does he ever get like he's married Gara Highland from Modern Family, Oh my god. Yeah, they've been doing like three years. They Yeah, they just got engaged

because we love the adorable in person. He did deep every sad junking story at the end of the night. Oh my god, can you imagine. So he was on one season and they liked him. He was different, like he would reference like Talking Heads albums and people would stare at him like what the are you talking about? Like he's actually a really fun, cool guy. And they liked him so much they had him go be the bartender I know, and then he fell in love as

their island. Um so, then we have um so. Then so Will's is watching Hannah and Blake chatting on the day bed and and his plan is to ask her lots of He's got like a twelve point system question. He wants to ask every question he's telling the camera. She tells Blake, so it's like, what's your favorite food?

And she's like, like a charcuterie platter. It's like, you know, so that was arcard a lot of food that's like a variety that can't be foods and Blake and Blake said, yeah, no, arc charcouonerie board is nobody's favorite fing It's not a food, it's a it's like a buffet. It's like, take a buffet is my favorite? I like a breakfast beret. I actually do like a breakfast buffet. So much favorite food that's my favorite food. I thought that was so strange.

He's like, what's your favorite food? Like shacoti board. He's like me too. He seems to have all like did he write these questions out before he came all questions? No, Blake's questions as well, are all very like So ten years from now, we're sitting on a bench like everything is. So, here's my theory, here's my sharing. So I'm gonna just say it now. I'm gonna get the scandal out of the way now because because I want to discuss my theory. So the scandal is this something in the room. So

everyone's like, Blake sucks, Blake sucks. There's the elephant. That's Blake sex. Blake sucks. Blake. Two girls, two nights in a row. He told me to be a secret. He wooed me all week and stage coach who new stage every the country Western the weekend in the weekend after Coach, So they probably just stay. They probably go to Coachella and they probably just stay. So okay, So then last night, um Blake looks like he's having like a mental breakdown. He does on his main page. On his main page,

he does like a seven page thing long. It's like, yeah, he's main page. He's like, I don't eat did the text? So wait wait waitre not okay, wait wait wait wait wa plays whole plays, whole place. Okay. So first he goes, look, I don't want to put this out there, but it's really painful. Yes, I did some stuff. I'm not proud of myself, like I've basically kind of like I've been kind of like James Taylor this year. However, I feel like I need to defend myself. Go to my stories.

So in the stories, he did disappearing screen grabs of all of her texts that were basically her sage. Klin to him that was like I want sex. He's like, no, this is a bad idea. I'm coming over for sex. He's like, no, we should go to bed. She's like he's like he's he goes, we can cuddle, she goes, no, no sex only, and like so she's demanding sex and

so she's being the real aggressor in this. And then afterwards you can see him saying we need to tell people, and she's like, I don't want to, but I will say so. And then he's afterwards freaking out and crying and like punching himself in the face of the chest, and then, um, it was hard. It was it was hard to watch while the show was one last night, I texted you guys, I guess it didn't so then he so then he oh, really, I didn't see that.

I didn't see that. Christina's texts up. I didn't see that. So then, But the thing that confuses me. So I was watching that because I already knew about the text, and I was watching it, and I'm like, okay, So, I mean again, who knows what happened? Like the truth probably lies somewhere in the middle. Like she was definitely more aggressive than she was making her out to be.

But the way he was crying last night and being like, my whole life is about to change because of my actions, it's like, well, all right, if it wasn't if you were single and it was just a woman being aggressive, Like it just feels like his reaction of how bad he behaved was larger than what the text, Like, I don't know, it's weird, Like where what is I don't

worry about? Yeah, he was just worried about looking like a bad guy because he you know, he did actually say when he was talking to and he said, look, you know this will only make sense if if you tell me do you have feelings for me? And and she went off on a thing more about like this is what a man should do and what I mentioned, and she had the opportunity to say do you have feelings for me? And kind of scooch past all that,

but it didn't work. I thought that he actually I thought that was a valid point, and I thought it was true, like it only ma makes sense to be busted like this if you really care about me, Yeah, that's true because I'm a single man and stuff. But I mean I don't know, so his questions, I guess, And also, like what you were saying at a like his questions. Part of me is like, okay, if he has been kind of a dirt ball, Look, we all

know guys that are players. If he's been kind of a player tearing through air, so yeah, like you're allowed to be a player. But like, if you know you've been kind of an extra dirty dog player, maybe this was his planned like for his good guy image redemption tour of like the Redemption I'm going to be a

gentleman on TV. I'm gonna ask I'm gonna pick Taitia and not Hannah, And I'm gonna like, like everyone thinks I'm gonna pick Hannah, but I'm gonna surprise people and go be a gentleman and ask questions like you know what I mean? Like like I feel like he's so worried about his image, Like he only cares about himself. He doesn't really sad about how the women. He bothered me that he said to her, He said, Christina, I can't believe you do this. You know, if he keep

blaming her, I was like, you did this, dude. There was no yeah, which is totally nice. Someone tweeted at us he said, this is the worst day of my life. And he was at in a school shooting. It's like that's that's the worst in your life. That's the most terrifying thing you can ever be in. And then a bunch of girls being like, how dare you treat us like this is the worst. What was shocking was there was just no accountability for that he had a hand in.

He was apologetic, He wasn't. He was like, I'm so so sorry. He was apologetic, but there was almost like how could you do this? To me have been sorry for how he made her feel, but we don't instead of just being sorry for his behavior with Christina. Yeah yeah, yeah, that he was upset and then he put it on her, which he did. He's like that and I'm mad at I'm mad at her. And yet when you look at the texts, and I just think people have like, I mean,

we could like it was do you want to show rob? Okay? So there's there's a bunch of texts. The first one, the first one that he posted is one week before Paradise. I don't know why he posted. He posted it like out of order. Well I saw mine in order. I saw that. Okay. It starts a stagecoach. She says, I'm coming. He says, this is uh, you know, basically, I'm going to come over. And he was like and she's like, it'll be fine. It's chilling. It's like that's what they

all say. And she says, come on, loosen up, let's just have a good time. Man. I just ordered an uber And then he's like, that's what you all say, and then um, she said, we can. I'm kind of skipping around because I want to read all that. We can cuddle, but no sex, and she says, yes, sex only sex. He says, I have willpower and then she says no cuddling. Um, and then she said you both

know that we're not true. And then he said, I know when you get a little alcohol in you like basically how you are and then uh, and then she says I'm a gentleman, and she goes, that's very false. If I come over, it's strictly for sex, nothing more. Nothing so bad for the guy a little. I'm just trying to be honest. Look, when it comes down to it, even if she threw herself at him, I think that he has to admit culpability that it was. And he

didn't last night. He did, he was he was never like, hey, you're right, I can see where this would hurt you. I can see how you feel. Yeah, yeah, and I think that would. I think they're both sucked up. I think they both just sucked up. But then they then they keep texting like a week before Paradise, where they're like freaking out because I guess Christina didn't know. Yeah, news of them got out and they're like, who knows, We've been so careful and yeah, I don't know either,

and he's like, because he must have been dating Christina. Yeah, And she was like, and they're like, did you talk to Cassie and Colton? Did they hell anybody? So, like, the news of them hooking up got out and they're like freaking out and they don't know if they should go to Paradise. And she's like, I really don't want to tell people, but I don't want people finding out and looking like hired. Did you tell Hannah? Was that Hannah? Gee? No,

she said Cassie. Also because earlier she keeps saying did you tell Hannah, and then Blake keeps being like, no, I haven't told her yet, which I don't. I don't know who he hooked up, Like, I don't get. It also feels like back in a day when before everybody became influencers, But early on in Paradise, people would be like, nice to meet you, Rob, like they were not all hanging out like yeah, we weren't able to contact each other much now, I mean, because they're just like, can

we like just think about it? And she's like, I think it's better to be honest, he said, we can do you know, I just don't think you will feel any more comfortable and sure, I guess let's just be honest. We funked up so bad. And then she's like, let's just play it off. It's not being a big deal. Every mean she in this world. I mean like that's when he's saying, it's yeah the way and she comes after him, and everyone makes sense where he would feel

so impact. Well, we know has done this before. She did that, and Anna she did with Hannah, and then she did with Katie, Remember lying about like Katie saying something, and then Tasia she's like totally like it's also like if he she's the one who's saying that we shouldn't lie, and he's it's so like if and if he was with if he and she's a big if he was with Christina and she did kind of push it and push it and I'm getting in a car and I need sex. It's like I can see how he's like,

I shouldn't have done this. This was a mistake, Like we shouldn't have gone through this. I knew we shouldn't have done this, and this was a mistake. People make mistakes. It doesn't mean you were a mistake. But it was as as my gut feeling at the whole thing and going, you she has a part in this too. Oh absolutely, I mean she's spinning. Sure, I don't if I was him and I was getting that edit and I and again, he might have had like a poon surfing season, like

what I'm sure he did. He's fought and everyone. I'm sure he did, and I'm sure he was kind of a growing like I bet he plays I've been a nice guy. And then but like I can see not wanting to get that edit and wanting to defend yourself. Yeah, and I'm saying it was great that he put the text up, but like I can see going, that's not what happened. These texts are are proving her story wrong. Yeah, like they're they're not proving the same narrat I feel

bad for Christine. Yeah, she's Russian, she's an orphan. I know, she's so sweet and she was so sweet. She had her heartbroken last year. She's a really lovely young lady and she had her heartbroken last time. I know. Heydner is like that was like his favorite obsessed with what did she eat? So he was so hungry and Russia. Yeah, so before after she put it on, I feel like I've done it myself, so we're all right. So we'll probably get more back to Blake and stuff, you know,

if I find anything else. So where with Kevin goes as a very solid cast of women. Well, we don't have any drama. And Yaka comes in with the horn cam comes up with his dumb leopard shirt and he goes, always beach cam and then I love that. Well, well, Wills goes, if I was at strip club, I would picture him as the DJ. That's really well, that's exactly right, it's perfect. That is perfect. I thought it's they're making fun of his shirts. I was like, you're all wearing

like silly shirts. Yeah. Yeah, and he goes, I'm in and one of the ladies, oh, I think it was DEMI was like, he freaks me out. He seems like the guy that would growl. And he immediately goes, I'm in Paradi. You knew it. So we have John Paul Jones comes down in a speedo and he goes, but I'm ready to surf, you know, whatever comes my way. Um, and then we have He's just he's just a quirky guy. That John Paul man. You can so you know when he's like, my friends call me John Paul Jones. You

know that his friends, he just doesn't have friends. My dolls called me. Yeah. But he's just like people like him because he's such a personality. Yeah, easy to be around. He's not a dick. He's just like he seems like a kind of he feels like, I'm what's his name from Sean Penn's character in Fast Time Shows. So I love that man. He's talking to the spectrum. Maybe I love when he saw his own reflection in the camera

and then he had to churn. He's like, I'm sorry, Like it was just like she's like, you know, talking matters people would make me nervous to go, I'm the type of person, like I'm the type of person like I'm direct and you're gonna know I'm the kind of person I just say it like it is like he's like, oh, I I was like, I got my quirks and he's gonna go. I was like, I'm sorry, I just saw my reflection my hair looking do you want to friends bread my hair? I'm John Paul Jones. So we have

Derek comes in. Derek was engaged last year to Taylor and I did not see this coming. But I love the Derek Demi com like combo because Taylor was so uptight, which she was the emotional intelligence. She'd like, Curran, you don't have any emotional intelligence. She was. She was super uptight. And they fell in love and they got engaged, and then they broke up, and like, basically he's dating the Karine of the next season, which is Demi, and like

they're really cute together. He switched to the kar he switched Karen's more. Fun's not gonna last because then we know she's going to leave him for a chick. I can't wait for We don't know who it is. We can't what do you do a three way? And that three way? You do a three way? We're just trying to get someone of the opposite sex to give you.
