She's so nice and her husband is so sweet and he's like her like fitness model. She makes him do what's her poor guy in the background, she makes him do all of it. He was a Simpsons writer if you know that, he was like a teenager and he worked on the Tracy Ullman Show and they drew

Millhouse after he's mill House, no House. And I are gonna do we want to do a podcast. So we're gonna do one pilot of a podcast about bad dates about everybody, because everyone's had bad dates. It's fun to hear about a nightmare date. So we have X so we're gonna do. I think I don't want to I don't want to name it, but I think we're doing like a test pilot. But here's what we need. We want to also hear from the public. We want to hear bad dates, so you can change the name of

whoever it is. We've set up a phone number. It won't ring to anyone's houses. No one's going to pick up. So if you have a bad date, call and leave the date on the voicemail. We really want to hear real bad dates, because I know I had one. I want on a date with a guy and he was so keyte and he brought me back to his apartment in New York, and he like had like a loft, and he built this like um indoor tree house in his place, and he was like a musician, and we were like climbing around the

treehouse and then I jumped. I did not see an animal anywhere, and I jumped down and I landed in a pile of ship and like then I looked around and there was like piles of ship like every like. So I'm praying, best case scenario it is dogshit. I'm not certain of that, but that is an example of a bad day. And but it should be longer than that.

Jerry Trainer and I were just

talking about that. How how I was like, I think a good date because my I'm my mom j J raised such a people pleaser that I know how to keep the conversation going. But I found that most guys never asked me any questions, so like they thought they had a great date because I can just keep asking them questions about themselves and they are talking about themselves and then but it was not fun for me. And then when they would call again, I would just disappear.

It was just like, you know, but they thought it was a blast because all they did was talking about them. So, yeah, I don't know, Rob, have you had a bad date? I'm trying to think I'm in the same boat. Like I'm kind of serial monogamous as well. My dates would have been like you know, high school, college, Okay, that's all right, but yeah, and you know, I she wasn't a joy. I don't think I was a joy. I was just I was I was so nervous. Everyone made

me so nervous. So girls made me very nervous. It's scary, it's you know, So I just feel like, I guess one of my worst dates is when when I asked, uh my wife to marry me way back in thirty years ago. I was just like, I was so nervous. I was knocking things over. I left my credit card at the table. I spilled wine as I got the question wrong. I was like, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind marrying me too much? Did you really phrase it like that, marrying me too so much? Yeah? Too much?

My god, that's I mean, I care when you have a ring in your pocket, just like like you're you're so aware that there's a ring in your pocket until like, I think that you're just like a nutball, until it's done. I proposed, and I felt that way. I was like so nervous, so I and I like spit it out like that. It was just to get out on my name. No, no, no, that's exciting, not romance. Here we are overall, Are you

guys enjoying? Listen to your heart. If you'd asked me last week, I would have been like, no, please let me put me out of my misery. But yeah, that the show just started. I wish that they would have told us the first weeks this is where we were leading. Agree, it was kind of a messy in the last few weeks. And I kept seeing in the previous that they were going to sing familiar songs, so I was like hoping that was gonna happen, and just never, They've always seen

these original, weird, improvised songs that were like brutal. So I feel like enjoying. I don't know. I think this is the first week I've come close to literally enjoying myself. But I've had a lot of fun, but it's all because of my own mind, you know what I mean. I wouldn't say the show was fun. I would say I had fun screaming over it. I feel like once it turned into American idol, or for the four people including myself who watched rock Star in Excess, I feel

like it's okay, Rob, you watched it. I feel were they trying to replace the guys in in Excess? Yeah, because Michael Hitchin, Michael Hutsons died auto erotic expociation. He died, had fun, Yeah, he went out with a bank and uh and uh yeah and he uh and and so

they know they did one of them. So then the first season they got a new lead singer, and then the second season, which been different, they did a different band wasn't the one where like, um, they did where because Adam Levine took over for what's it called the

Worst Him? This was Dave Navarro and the first season it was like the other dudes and in Excess were it was really interesting and they lived in a mansion very similar to the and one of our listeners, um, Adam Lambert and Lambert come in and yeah yourself, Manna show yourself, get on video. Um, so tell me so she he was on rock Star in Excess. He was American. He was on Americans on the lead singer of Queen Thank You So Great? Anna? Who was what was the

other band they did on rock Star Excess? There was another band the next season. And then we also, um, we also got an email from a listener because we were like trying to figure out where this mansion. So on rock Star and ex says they moved to mansion that looks very much like this mansion. I wonder it was the same one. One of our listeners emailed us instaid it's called the Hummingbird Ranch or the Hummingbird Estate, and it's near it's near um where they do porn.

Where's the porn? Oh? Then I chat scores. Well, you look at how much it is a night to rent the Hummingbirds. And one of the things I keep wanting to bring up and continue to bring up on the show is that I the house looks like a diorama, Like it looks like it's a figurine, And then I keep imagining that the people are really small when they live in there. Then it's maybe it's that small. It's a it's a fascinating sandalone ranch near Chatsworth, Like it's somebody really threw down for this thing and then maybe got to divorce and has to rent it up for production. I don't know, it's insane that that's a real house. Like the idea that like a family would live there is like disturbing

to me. Hummingbird Estate, Yeah, it opened in two thousand nineteen, like it literally just open, but it may have been a home that somebody like over then built in nineteen Wait, this is in Oregon. This is wrong. It was like there's no hi Katie Hianna, Oh I found it? How many her nest ranch? Okay? How much is it a night? You have the contact for? We're gonna get going. So Gabe, who we have literally never heard from before he was who's adorable but has not been allowed to speak um, which is you know, let's be real, they're very I feel like the whitewashing on the Bachelor franchise has continued on Listen to your Heart and oh my god, like that girl that left last week that nobody talked to, and then and then like adorable Gabe, like nobody, why is he not? It's just they don't have enough diversity always.

That's always a huge problem with these shows. And I don't know, it seems like they just they One of the problems with a lot of these shows too, is that like if you don't have if you don't make a splash, like right away, or like have an instant connection with someone we like don't hear from you, and then you're gone, Like this is just what always happens, and it is like so messed up that they they don't It feels like they don't give people a chance sometimes,

like it's just they don't set them up for success. He wanted to talk to Savannah. She was the person he's had the most deeper, the most deeper conversations with. Yeah, that was a little brutal. Yeah. And then Brandon Um he pulls aside Julia, who turns out is Craig Cray like Julia is. Julia is off her rocker. I call her the teacher because she looks like a Teacher's not

a teacher. She looks forty three, she's seven. She dresses exactly wrong for the era and her body Like, I'm like, I have so many issues with Julia, and it all would be fine if she was nice, but she's not that. Do you think, Rob, do you think that the producers knew she was a wild because she looks like a normal lady. She looks like she looks step mom, and I thought and I thought her in the Dude, the tall dude looks like you know, beauty and the Beast

or something. The worm with the long curly hair that she's with love, Yes, I love him. Yeah, is going to it in whatever is it? Shearedan yeah Cherokee. He uh yeah. I just thought that they were gonna be

sweet together. But I did not see this coming, like last night, like she was straight up and he is sitting crazy and she he has said, well, we'll get to him, okay, So she so Brandon, the whole thing was branded yeah, and the naper pulls her aside and he was like, look, I knew you were going to get chosen, so I didn't want to send a Vanna home, but I knew you were still going to be here and that we could continue to talk and pursue something. And she's like, this is something I wanted to pursue.

And then she goes, I need Brandon to be open to exploring this. And then a poor Sheridan or whatever his name is, is like just just writing songs on the couch if he I mean, look, I have been a chump before you do see it, and you're like you want to say to him, have a problem, Like the only way to get her interested is if you actually have a problem with this, Like if he's too like, okay, man, well I want I don't want to go with the slow And it's one thing that's crazy though about this show,

and it's like what they reveal that, like you you have to stay with someone and then you eventually have to go on tour with them or whatever if you want, which would be like a punishment if you are faking a relationship like that would be horrible to have to go on tour with Sheridan if you don't feel how badly do you want our record? Yes, split a room at a Day's in for six months or Americo awful? Rob?

Are you enjoying this? Um? Yeah? Like I said, honestly, the first couple of weeks I was not, and then last night I was like, oh that's what this show is. Let me. It's like I got my minor of what it was. And I think it would have been exciting if the first two weeks they would have said they only have two weeks to decide the one person they're going to be right through going through the journey with, and like let it be this sort of speed day. Because all of a sudden, Chris comes in in this

episode and he's like, by the way this is American idol. Yeah. Well, and that's what was really unfair for everyone because they didn't know that that's what they were doing. So they all thought they had time to like mix and match, and then it was like, oh, whoever you've held hands with as your guide go like well, and normally, if you are a Bachelor fan, you would think that there would be um a lot more. I don't know what

my phone is. Suddenly this is all loud, um there you Normally you would think of all that came in was one round of women, normally around of guys, another round of women, maybe another round of guys, Like this is the first time that they I mean, look, maybe it's sort of like poor Claire. They're not doing her any favors because they Claire the upcoming bachelorette. They add clearly they can't get anybody to apply for it, but they're not helping her because they're putting up a photo

from three Huntrey Western. It looks like from like a board dell from like the She's not able to get anyone applied. I feel like every time they played the commercial, they've literally played it crickets and they're playing it again to like to ask a second to please, like, I feel like each time is building. I missed this because I thought she already had a full season cast and they were going to go into the house and help explain Anna, please explain Um. It seems that she kind

of shaded the guys a little guy. We saw the the guys were really bottom of the barrel and they were really young, and I think she was like you she now it feels like no one wants to apply to be with her, and so they keep begging and they put up in this awful red Ryan Stone. I'm gonna find a picture right now, here's the man like Claire. What I like about Claire is that she's like in her thirties, I like, which probably means she's gonna take it really seriously. Like there's a lot about it that

I really like. I've been saying for years they have older contestants because I don't think everyone should be twenty two trying to get married on the Bachelor. But it should be an unknown, it should be someone where there's no preconceived notions. There's a thirty seven year old woman who's single, but she's like great and all her friends give testimonials and then we just get some cool guys in there. It's not that hard. I mean agreed, because

we're currently rewatching. I was gonna say, you know, you're watching firsthand, like how crazy she has on one publics she's so awful? Wait, hold on one second? Was she was she awful on that? On that season? She was just so crazy? She was just like the crazy one like they made they made like a thing of her, like they edited her like talking to a p a but they made it like she was talking to a raccoon.

And that was like the meme of the time, like there before memes, but it was like it was just like how crazy she was talking to this raccoon and she wasn't even talking, but she's like he doesn't even like Me's goo good cutting it with raccoon and are currently rewatching and Katie all three of us were currently rewatching Wan Pablo season um with Lori and with Jerry Trainer and he she's so badshit just and that's her first intro. And then we were talking about Winter Games.

Do you remember when did you watch one of the games? It? Yeah, Um, Lorie brought up that she was chasing the German guy who was upset because she missed her appointment for the jacuzzi jacuz and I do not chase a woman if I have an appointment. We had an appointment seeing and you did not make it our appointment for the jacuzzy. That's Claire, that's all Claire. Claire Katie put in the chat the crazy look at the photo. Look at the photo that there. I don't know if we can see

it on our phones. If you put if you go into your text, are begging people? She looks a hundred and ninety. It's not good. It's not good, and I want an adult, but like, get a different adult because this is damaged. Um okay, so here we are so crazy crazy Julia, who has kind of a Claire vibe,

needs Brandon to be open to exploring this. And then um, Chris Harrison's comes in and even Chris Harrison feels like he doesn't know the lay of the land, and he's like, well, love, as we all know, love comes first, music comes last, Like when does that ever happen? Like you look at look at sleep with Mac, you know, look at all these like great couples that got went horribly awry. But like music. Music comes first music. Because first music is first,

the romans will never live through it. I mean that's the whole thing of the one that the lady gog. I'd rather like one person is going to get more famous, one's gonna get jealous and outshine somebody. Like the music comes first, the love is it's the love is not gonna come first. That part was very exciting when the judge said that, oh, we gotta get there. I mean, I'll wait, I'll save it. But that was exciting. Um

So then she goes, there's no more new arrivals. You need to find Could your relationship exists outside of this? I only want to see couples here next time. By What did you think of that? Rob? I mean, it feels like they're making the show up as they go, Like I felt like they called an audible. I feel like they called an audible on the line and they're like, you know what, let's just go right to the music.

By the end of the day, You're right. It kind of feel like that it did really rushed and sudden, and then like it led to like a bunch of people leaving, which I feel like they were probably panicking about. Like I felt like that. I could hear people in a van nearby going, well, wait, they're all het all leave go to the ceremony. They feel like, well, there's

a lot of people leaving. So then we have game in Savannah and um, uh, Savannah that she finds a Juliet tells Savannah everything about what Brandon has said to her at the water cooler that moment, and she shocked at that. Juliet had a conversation with Brandon, and um, Savannah's like, that's what I don't open up. I pulled away a little bit, and um, Julia meanwhile was rubbing in. He said to me, I know you were going to

get a rose. And then Savannah's starts crying and she goes like my rose, Um, and you know, I guess he's more inclined to pursue Julia. So meanwhile she's weeping. She's think she's lost. She thinks she's lost the sniper and Gabe approaches and he says, I can't continue unless I'm coupled with you. Even though we've never seen them speak. Ever, we've never seen them speak. She goes me, or you go home? And then um, She's like, I just feel like it's more of a friendship. I don't know if

it's romantic. I don't know if there's a spark. And then she's weeping and weeping and weeping, and the producer runs after her in a shirt that reads no time for bad Vibes and two seconds gonna have two seconds Rob Vibes, Rob Benedict thoughts, Julia Gabe, Savannah Sniper. I saw the too, that the producers running after with the like no time for bad vibes. It was so perfect. If you like, if the costume person had decided that, I'd be like, no, it's too on the money, she

can't wear that. Yeah, And then and then but then she's like, Savannah's like, can I'm just not? Can we not? Can I just have two minutes? And she won? She won the argument. She's like by herself against the wall, crying, and I'm not a Savannah fan the whole thing. I'm not, Lauren, what did you think of all? My thought was like, just date him for twenty four hours and see, because you don't know and you're about to leave, which also

means you get no music career. So if my feeling is if you're like, it's it's messed up to have to combine your passion with romance. Like if you want to get your music career going, you have to date some weird guy that is messed up. But try it, you know what I mean, Like it's your only shot at this point, Like I would date him for a day.

I mean when things happened very quickly there, you didn't do one song together, and then you could maybe stay it and then I don't know, maybe you find out you do like him or maybe you don't, but you get like three more episodes, which then gets you like a million followers in your fab fit sunbox, you know what I mean, Like the same thing. I was, like, he's adorable, like your all eyes locked and loaded on the night burn, but like this guy is really cute.

If you think Sniper is gone, date this guy for a day? What's wrong? Anna? What did you think? Yeah? I agree, I didn't at all. It was weird because the way she reacted. I was like, none of this matters, Like you don't marry this guy cares. He's nice, he likes he was a good singer. He seems like a good Christian boy, and he's not gonna do anything weird. He's just yeah, how old his hand? Yeah, hold his hand, look in his eyes and seeing some weird soft rock

love song. Totally Katie, What did you think? Katie Levine, Ladies and Gentlemen, Katie Levin. I was so confused because first of I was like, who is this guy? We've never seen him before, We've never seen them speak. I mean, I know we don't see everything, but like, why even show it then, like if we've never seen them? And she just like she I felt like she cried for her her like of the whole you know, it's just insane. I'm not into her. No, I'm not. She's not incredibly

talented either. There's so many good voices. I don't think hers is the best. But is she the one who's with Brandon? Yeah? Oh, I'm even more confused because you know that she because Julie was like, Brandon likes me, and so she like she was gonna leave, he thought, because so then so then Gabe goes to Ruby, we haven't gotten to know, and she's like, I do just

feel like I wasn't giving a fair chance. And I thought that's fair because you didn't show up the first day, and because of that, you weren't given a fair chance. I mean, it's fielding. Unless you're in the first round on this musical chairs, or you're the weird Russian lady that came in and stuck her tongue down Harry Potter's throat, then you're not gonna You're not gonna get a fair chance. Okay. So then we have Brandon and he's the bad boy and he has to decide and he's like, well, I'm

gonna go talk to her. What's your biggest concern um? And then she's like, I didn't know the extent that they were, like you and Julia, you should have told me. I mean, I'm here for you. You You can tell me anything. We can work through it together. We've known each other for thirty hours. And then, um, you know we could have fast forward a few days and expressed our feelings. I feel blindsided. And then she said there's a world wind of chaos. WorldWind. And then he said, I'm asking

for forgiveness. I'm asking to move forward with you. Give it a fucking shot. You want to do this, you want to go home? And cry said like a sniper to a weird cry baby yoga instructor from Nashville. I want to do this with you, full steam ahead, captain, it was all said Rob Benedict thoughts. I don't like him, I don't like her. He's wishy washy, and it looks like next week he's coming back the other way, which is mind boggling. I think he freaks me out to yeah,

I don't, and I don't think that. I don't think they have the best voices, like after the part, know that Laura this winting, because that's kind of the thing is. I'm like, I actually want more music out of these people because I want to see why they were chosen. I want less. I like drama, but I want less like romance part of the story and more like, let's hear them sing. I want to judge them based on that, and then I want to see who's got a connection.

Like when you get so invested in the drama between these people and then you hear them and they're not that amazing, it's like, okay, wait, wait, you shouldn't even be here, you shouldn't be going on tour. Like the first night, everybody should have sung a song, which I wanted them. I wanted that it should have been like

American idol. Yes, when everybody's got I thought that would have actually sparked romances, because if you see someone share their talent and they're like amazing and it's and it's the vibe that you like of music or whatever, then you'd be like, oh, I'm gonna go talk to that guy. And it might have made people look at people differently. But now they have to sing together even if they

don't have that type of connection. My theory was they couldn't afford that many songs, right yeah, um um, probably not because it seems like they blew it all in John Mayer and then every other date has been busting. Yeah. So then they have um, so then we have Julia is Miss Sheridan and and he's the most understanding sweet Harry Dormatt just sweetest can be with rings. He went to Urban Outfitters, you got the rocker hat. He's got the look down and looks like the beast before the

beast transforms into the print. Yes beast. And I don't want to like him, but I really think he's a nice guy and I want to teach him to have a bit of more of a backbone. And I find him he is appealing on stage, like he is so centered and grounded and his psychosis around her really works for them on stage. I know he's a good singer.

I like, I like listening to him. I also really liked the John Mayer singer guy that when he looks like my husband, but if he was like weird, and I like that guy, and I like some of these voices. But that's part of it, is like like I will think they're a total like douche bag, and then they sing and I'm like, m I know, so they need to endear us to them more, but let me just hear more. I'm I'm shocked at how talented I think

a lot of them are. I And part of me is like, am I just a fool that's not in this world? And so I'm like, oh, that's like like if it's you know, it would be almost like if there was ten really amateur stand ups that like if I hadn't seen much stand up. I mean, Rob, you're a musician, do you think they're good singers? Yeah? They really are, Even the ones that I just said like

art as talented, Like they're still very talented. You know that That makes me feel better because I'm like, maybe I just don't know, like am I because I had the same thought Artum. Because we come from watching The Bachelor, we're like, people's job is like social media user, and we're like still like people are fans of them, so like then to have a talent, we're like, holy shit, like this person can sing a song, and the bar

as low Robbie's was aspiring. Social media participants think they gave him that shady So then Sheridan goes, do you want to tell me what happened with Brandon? She was like, look, I'm trying to I had something with Brandon. I have never lied to you. I'm trying to process it forgive myself, and I hope it won't bleed into us. He says, I hope it won't believe it us and she goes, no, no, it won't. She's do you think that the producers knew

she was a psychopath when they cast her? Lauren Um, I think it probably must have like steeped out a little bit during the process of the casting. But I also think they could have cast her and she could have been like just a delightful surprise because she looks so normal and like and her job is like really nice, like she has profit, so like this is like a real it's like a beautiful thing to be doing. And so she looks like a teacher and she she's very

like nice looking. She's like Jerry McGuire renee zellwig Er, like juststic fibroses. She could have been like America. We could have all loved her. But so I thought that if they cast her for that reason and then she ended up being catty, like they must have been like gleefully dancing around the editing room like just so thrilled. Yeah, And there's a level of manipulation I think that she has that you couldn't have predicted it casting. She's very talented.

They might have known something, but like she's very manipulative. I just didn't see it coming. There's some cracks on the fall line. If you guys just heard spraying, it's me spraying like Fabrize trying to get the must out of my locked up garage. That would have been a great like, uh, you know you having product placement in your podcast. I like that. I'm like disadvertising for Fabrize and Diana Newton Fitness. Okay, so um so then they go okay, Now each couple is going to be given a song, and celebrities and former bachelor couples will be judging to decide whose stays and who goes down to one final couple whose musical and love lives are given an amazing opportunity to start their lives together

as recording artists on tour together. It was like the strangest prize, Lauren, And it was announced so randomly, and I was so confused that they didn't know it already, Like everyone's like what, I'm like, wait, what did you think was gonna happen? Like what did they tell you what the prize was when you signed up? Like and I even started doing the math of like when did they film this? And like are they locked into motel

together now being forced to zoom? Are they gonna be made to go on a cyber tour like on tour? Like when did they like when did they film this? And so they make this big announcement. I swear that he's got it like in his ears the whole time, Like it's that random and there in a guest judges, celebrity celebrities and former Bachelor couples. It's so crazy. And then now I know that Katie. I'll wait tell Katie

comes back to bring this up. So they all each get their songs, and Julie is trying to like work on hers with um Sheridan, but she's so throwne because she keeps hearing Brandon and Savannah that she's and then she's like, and then she lies and goes, I'm so tired, I'm blanking all the time, and she starts crying, just like it's hard. They're just people falling in love. I'm just questioning everything. That was great sound that was great sound design, how they had rehearsal, it was so good.

I want you to want me. Oh my god, this slow person. If I wanted, I couldn't imagine see anything worse than you could be hearing as someone like that guy wanted to date me that he's dating her. And now they're standing right there singing that really greenng like for for those like kids out there that do not know the original cheap trick, I want like they have a they have a bunch of really fun songs. That's one of them and also Surrender is an incredible song

by Cheap Trick, But um right, am I right? Do they sing right? It's such a good song, but like so yes to hear a slow like sexy like sexy. I thought they were going to sing it like I have fun. I was like, oh, that's a great song, and then I was like, I can't even tell what it is. I know they turned every song into a John Mayer song, every Fun song they made me John

Mayer like, just is this the style of music? This is what the kids listen to know Anna, Anna tell me do the It's just like acoustic guitar with men with man. I don't even know. I can't imagine this. I don't know what anyone likes anymore. I don't I can't even him fun young people like ude want me. It was like they made it so boring so but then they made it like I want you to want me. It was like it was so hard to wait things out of the side of the stuff don't want men.

It was so weird getting that you're not you're not you're not crying. I could do that all day. I could do I would not like you know what I got to do again, and they come back, Katie before we go to break, I'm gonna let give you this word. They're all rehearsing. Why is it you you mentioned this in our text read Why are the guys the only one to play the instruments? I was like that, Why can't the ladies play the piano or the guitar? Is it because like hot girls front bands and guys learned

the guitar to get laid? Is that generally what happens? Why nobody that you getting Katie, Katie, No, that wasn't me, that was I think that was Michellean noticed that, right? Was it somebody in the text it was? I thought it was Michelle Lass. I don't know. I don't think that was me that noticed that. All right, Yeah, it is true. None of the women play any instruments. They all, I mean, they have good voices, but they seem to be pretty faced. This more than anything, which is the setting.

Doesn't it seem like they just cast people where like the guys play guitar and the women singing, like they didn't cast any women. Who's saying I mean, who played guitar like on purpose? But couldn't confuse? What's going to happen here, like the man's gonna play and you're gonna sing. No, was like pouting behind a guitar flirting with Brandon, Like I don't know if that was like just like a buffer or like a security guitar to hang on to which she was attempting to flirt with him, or if

she actually played it but she was holding a guitar. Well, you know what, Like maybe it's just a way to ensure that whoever you pair up with will have the skill that you need. Like men all can play an instrument. Women all can sing and not play instruments, so it's not like a mixed bag where like two people who can't play guitar up together. It would have been so badass to have a girl they could just shred it. It It would have been you don't want to confuse people.

But also if one of these girls could play guitar and sing, if one of these women could play guitar and sing, they'd already be famous. But it would have made it to that people wouldn't be able to tell right away that she wasn't feeling because every time he kiss her, she's like it was like that. I was surprised they gave them mistate because I was like, they're not

gonna last. I don't know what the point of having them on at least send like the people who are like, what's her name? Bree and Chris on this date or already had a date. Then they have a photo shoot and then they get into the hot tub and there they start to kiss on the hot tub and she is so not into the kiss, and she goes, I think you're an incredible human being. She is so not there, she is so not into it, saying there is no body I'm saying I think you're an incredible human being to someone you actually like. Yeah, you just don't do it. You only say it when

you don't like someone. I think you're an incredible human being, and I want yea, she said, I enjoy a lot of the qualities you bring that. God, I mean her body has a visceral reaction. Okay, so then um, meanwhile, back at the Hummingbird Nest ranch, uh, Brandon goes to Savannah babe, you look so good, and she said, are you sure? Do you mean that? And then he said, babe,

your heart is beautiful. And then meanwhile Julia is kind of like listening at the water cooler to them talking and she starts whispering and she goes at the end of the day, you have to realize he could be the wrong reasons, Um, he was some zero two hundred real quick. She's like like Glenn Close and Fadel attraction and boil the bunny like batshit just banana pants. Laura Lob guests, what do you think of Julia, Savannah and Brandon.

I think Julia like kept one thing that was really bothering me about the whole thing was that she kept saying Savannah was fake, And I was like, no, savannahs having a relationship with Brandon. You came in and told her he was telling you he likes you. That means Brandon is the one being fake, And yet she was refusing to blame him. I think she wanted to end up with him and not have him look like a

cheater or a weirdo. So she was saying it was all Savannah like, oh, you're you're so fake, You're faking your relationship and blah blah blah. But and if not really laying it on Brandon for being too paste, that's actually doing with Sheridan, Like why didn't she leave? Literally, Sheridan is just like sitting there like a dog being like okay whatever, Like she is ignoring him. She's not sexually attracts him. She will fake it and and and she I think she's the biggest faker, and that's part

of why she's like calling everyone out for being fake. Yeah, Rob, what do you think agree with that? Um? I also thought that scene you're talking about, the whisper scene, was really weird because I've never seen a scene like that in the batch where they're two women here whispering and then there are two other two groups of other women in the room, right you can't hear at all. So it's almost as if they were doing that thing that

they do in Hollywood where the extras don't talk. They's act like they're talking here any of the dialogue that everyone else was having hear this conversation, only we've never seen like a water cooler to like the water cooler talk, and like, yeah, I've never really seen that. She's Yes, Uh, yeah,

she is. She is. And I somebody tweeted at this and I saw, I'm gonna think she's as crazy as Justsica on love is blind about Barnett and Amber Yes, yes, and staying keeping herself a part of the equation even though they've all moved on, like they're in a relationship. Now it's over and you know him for two seconds and now it's done. You know, what did you think? I mean? I thought that tweet was really precise, Like

I thought that was a really really good comparison. Yeah, I think she was projecting because she's clearly faking it with Sheridan. And then when she was talking to what's her name, Savannah, she's like, I don't have feelings for Brandon, so like I'm in love. We're not there yet, we're not there here, we're not there Okay, So then so then um so then she so then there's still so

then they're still singing I want you to want me. Um. Julie is obsessed with it, and she keeps saying she went from zero to hundred real quick with so much p d A. It's like nothing's discreet. Um, I am not willing to be fake it. Is hard for me to process, and she's weeping disgusting. I feel like, um, I feel like I need a one on one with you. I feel like I need a one on one with you, and she says, um uh. And meanwhile Sheridan says, he's

cautiously apprehensive. Usually you're cautiously optimistic, cautiously apprehensive. He's apprehensive about being apprehensive. Poor guys, like so here, this is for you. Anna. She pulls aside ding dong named Savannah and goes, I wanted to leave here and it was because of you. Um. You coupled up and you're all all over each other and it feels disingenuous. Why And then she goes, wait a minute, what I am doing should not affect you. And she goes, I made a decision,

and my decision was Brandon. Um, so it really I'm comfortable I'm with him, and that should only be about me, and she was no, no, no, there's a disconnect. There's p d A and I have been so nice to you, And then Julius says, um, the only person who has been attacked here is me. I don't have any feelings for Brandon. At the end of the day, Oh and then uh, Savannah says, well, at the end of the day,

Brandon chose me. She I have to say. That made me, Like savannam Moore, I felt like she actually dealt with that in a very rational She dealt with your at like a crazy person and didn't get rattled. Lauren thoughts. I agree. I thought she did a really good job of just being like, wait, you're weird. What are you talking about? Like she was like, you, why do you care about my relationship so much if you don't have

feelings for him? And who cares? Like You're being weird for saying my relationship is fake because it shouldn't affect you. And I thought she was totally right. Um, I feel like I didn't even think they're really relationship seemed fake until maybe the performance. But I still think Julia was like really looking for something to say about it. It was not like evident at all. Rob. Yeah, Julie is the fakest of the faith I know, and I liked it. I agree with you. It made me, you know, I

think Savannah won that conversation. Um, you know, and she was like, look, you're coming at me. You know, you sat down and you're coming at me telling me I'm faith Like, um, yeah, I sided with Savannah there. I really don't like either of them, but I side it was Savannah. So then um, Natasha and our little Ryan, adorable Ryan got a date and Lourie texted us that he went from a twenty one year old girl to

a thirty three year old woman. And they go to the House of Blues see Chris Lane and his wife Lauren, who looked different to me. She did like r very like she just looked different. Did you sleep Like It was like, here's my guess, money, money, money, money, Well, okay, so we watched from remember we watched we know, we all did, the three of us. We watched a few

episodes of Ben and Lauren newly wished Happily. Ever after that met Lauren and and you can tell that she hated Ben and that it was disappointing to be in yes, and then he was like pranking her with like oreos with toothpaste in the middle, and she was like yeah. And they were like in a little one bedroom house and she wanted the wedding to be on TV and he didn't want it to be on TV, and like she was like, I didn't sign up for Like I think she was like, I want more status and more celebrity.

Like remember when he was like, I want to use my garage door as my headboard, And she was like, And I think she traded up, Like in her brain she's like, I want more fame, I want more money, I want more access. Anna. What do you think she hated Ben Higgins? Yeah, I don't think she was feeling it. I also think it's fascinating that Chris Lane, who she's married to, now dates. He has a history of dates.

He he dated another Lauren B that was also on Ben Higgins seasons before marrying this Lauren B. Oh my god, that's complicated. Yeah. So he was very charming. He was like, wow, I thought you were Sean Mendez and and they get to go on stage in the side at the House of Blues. I was surprised it was as crowded as it was Rob do So are we supposed to know him? I think he's a country singer. I think he is famous because I knew she married like a successful musician. Okay,

everybody's got some big, big plans. Oh my god, And like I was like, did they do this every night? Did she come out from the wings and everybody goes, oh my god, because I think so I caught a glimpse that on the screen behind them was like possibly him proposing difference. I think it might be like they play that video and then she comes out, and it's like a thing I feel it is. I think she's part of the act of like they played the video

and then people go nuts. I'm like, like she wasn't beloved on the franchise, like no, but she's just known. It's like anyone who recognizes anyone is excited. But do you think that it was sick? How um the two contestants were like trying to like really perform weir and then like he grabbed the mike and then he needs to remember to give it back to her, like near one mike, and you could tell he like took it. Yeah. Yeah, they totally did that thing with you, like everybody's got

some big, big place, make it your own. You're on his concert. So then meanwhile back at the ranch, um, Rudy and Matt are practicing their song and she's singing and hiding and pillows even though she's a nutball, I like crazy wild wild canon Rudy I find her to be very authentic. I think she's a disaster, but I kind of enjoy this combo. And I mean, I think she's a handful, but I kind of like her, and

I like them. What do you think about them? Rob, I'm just for some reason, I need I need a Rudy pick has like throwing bottles at him and like she's crazy. She's crazy, but she's fun she's funny, she's talented. Again when I saw talented, okay, so then um yes. So then after their performance at House of Blues, Harry Potter and Like the Pussycat Dog are out grinding in the hallway. Anna sent us a fact last night about Natasha. She Anna contends that she is a producer plant Anna

throwing it to you. Oh, I mean I think she was. She did a show called Like the Pussycat Doll looking for the Next Doll or something I had to watch dad on mad TV. And so I feel like, mostly she's really good at what, Like, she's a really good singer. Like I'm sure she's already working. So I feel like they someone knows her. They know she's good at starting drama because she came in was like Trevor from American Idol, and so I think he made it his top fifty

of American Idol. How funny. I'm friends with every single one of his ex girlfriends, and so I figured like she was brought in to stir the pot little because she's also kind of like hot and sexy and like can get in between couples if she was really trying. So I don't know, I feel like she I feel like she didn't apply. She was probably asked because they're like, oh, Natasha, she can. She's good at what she does and she's

a hottie, so she could like or whatever. You give her an assignment and she will Lauren, I I agree with that, And I think that she seems to have a lot of experience performing because when she was performing on stage, she did like an entrance. She was like confident, where some of these people look like they've never been they never held a mic or something. You know. It's like there's like she had a real strong confidence and

she crushed it and she was not nervous. So that seemed to say she's been doing this for a while. So then we we just see everybody having me go into the barn to meet the musical director Bob, and everybody starts doing their thing. Chris and Brie. Chris is a great voice. We'll get more to that when we get performing. But his voice to me is so beautiful. I just it's fantastic. Jamie and Trevor, she's so stressed, she's so nervous. She doesn't want to disappoint him. She's choking.

She wishes she was better for for him. Um and then she she was getting in her own head and he's like, you're doing great, baby, I wish because I do so nervous. She starts crying, I don't want to ruin it for him, and she runs away out of the barn, all the way into the mansion up to the second floor, weeping thoughts. Rob crazy, just that was crazy to me. And the level of nerves, I mean, look, a lot of these people have great voices. There, their musicians.

They applied for the show because they're aspiring musicians. And I get it. It's nerve racking. I get it, but like the level of like I can't do it, it was like greater than I would have thought with these professionals, you know. And she's the top dog of that. She is the top dog. If I can't can't, I can't do it. Yeah. I think a lot of it with her was that she's twenty one. I'm like, she probably has not done anything. She's barely dated. Like I just

feel like there's so much happening for her. She's probably never performed live. I was really curious about everyone's background because they had such different reactions. After a lot of people have done like tons of bar gigs and like something like lots and lots of gigs and lots a lot the night to bomb almost like if you're stand up and you've been on you're used to being on stage, even if it's like in a coffee shop or a laundry matter, whatever, if you have the chops of I

mean not I would happen on Mad TV. We would like, you know, most of the people on there had done lots of sketch or or groundings or whatever like UCB, and and then they would hire people that had only

done been from YouTube and they hadn't performed live much. Now, granted, like the people can go and you know, like Andy Sandberg, I think when killed it at SNL, but it seemed harder for some of the people that were hired on mad you know, like because of just those hours of even just bombing, have you even going and bombing, but having the time, the hours under your belt, the sea legs of doing it night after night, even if it's

not doing well. You're used to performing live, Lauren, No completely. I mean I think like there this might be like a great training room or some people because they'll just be like thrust into the spotlight and have to just do it. But even American Idol gives you more of a chance to like kind of work on songs and like have the time and it's all about the music.

It's not about a relationship as well. So I think, like having to find someone you're in love with and perform on TV for the first time, it's like, so then they bring in the crowd and I wrote down

it looks like a crowd of murderers. It's just there was something that It's like there was something about, like the actual crowd was perfectly attractive, but there was something about like villagers coming into the town square with the right The actual crowd was perfectly good looking, but there was something like marching up the hill to the square, there wasn't quite enough of them, there was five towns people coming to Stone. Somebody like who's like drank from

the town well or something. You know, I feel like it's At one point Chris Harrison said there'd be celebrities. They're like in the audience. I was almost looking around, like do I recognize anybody? Go home? I thought. At the beginning, he was like, the judges are gonna be like celebrity judges and a couple and celebrities. At the it definitely, I mean that might be coming up, but like the future, it definitely felt like they could only

afford so many extras. They definitely felt paid. They felt like they've been in holding for like ten hours downs or rock outfits or whatever, like eating you know, ho hoes and like like craft service waiting, and then like they walk the townspeople walk up with like Kesha and Jason Muraz and Joe Jo combination of these judges dude Rob Jason reson his hat, this hat, Jason Murraz and Kesha and her nails, and then Jojo and Kesha were kind of in the same dress. Like the whole thing.

I'm like, what wait what And the Jordan's just seems just seemed cool. She seemed pretty stoned to me. Yes, she loved different than I remember her. She looked different a lot of likea but so did Jojo. Jojo had a lot of work done it like a lot of fillers and lips, and I was trying to I feel like they didn't push it on Jojo as much because I love getting your look of like like in the same way that Lauren looked different. I'm like Joe Joe. I wanted to, like I should just like I wanted

to like freeze frame and really inspect, like what's happening. Well, there's something so weird about like the arrow or and and we're like, getting filler makes you it looks pretty, but it looks like something happened and like but that's like the look everyone wants. So it's I think I like that people like, yeah, I got filler, Like they're like, yeah, I got fillery and they didn't get it's like like it did your face YEA. The most fascinating thing I know.

We talked about this last week with Michelle. I'm so was so fascinated seeing Kylie jenneral with no makeup on doing that, like she was like in sweatpants and it made me she was like this cute, normal girl, but like it just made me want to hand my face to somebody to draw to just just just turn you into like a like how do you do? I want

to I would love to do. I've always wanted to do this where I would shoot something where I look like I have the same plastic surgery as them, Like so like just whatever it takes, like sort of you know, amazing special effects to like fill out the lips. And just because people are doing it, she's doing it with skin, like she doesn't have lips where so when she takes off her Kylie Jenner lipstick, it's like skin, it's not It's so weird. It's fascinating, freaky, it's fascinating. I love

I love the Motley Crew of judges. I just want to say real quick, and and I love that next week there's a whole new Motley Crew. I remember welling Rita Wilson. I feel like Jewel is coming upon Jewel and maybe Rachel and Brian are coming up. That's exciting. Rachel like yeah, Joe, Joe, Jason Mraz Kesha and m and Jordan's Jason Moraz hat felt like I felt like it was a time traveler from fifteen years ago. It was a it's a bit vague, billy. It felt like

I felt like fifteen years ago, like mal Kiosks. Everybody was like, getting that hat right now. Look he's covering a bald spot. If I wore that hat, I would look so dumb. Like I just was like that hats not good, Like I don't know. I could put it on, but it's not gonna look right. It's weird. It would like to put all of us in that hat. We wish we could we do it for the photo. Oh my god, Anna, will you put that hat on? Everybody? I need to run in the ladies room and I'll

be back. I don't know about you, but things again so hot. I think I gotta take I'll break and we are back. You know what I have to say. Since we started this, I looked at my friend Diana Newton. New teaches the gym classes. She is on Instagram. It appears to be dying w T d I n E w T and then she has her email on there and then there's like a link to her zoom classes. But you basically she sends out a link every morning.

It's Monday, Thursday and Saturday's at one pm Pacific, and she'll send you the link and then the Spotify playlist and her venmo and then you venmo her fifteen dollars. I gotta tell you, it actually makes me sweat and I feel sure and like and it makes you feel like like a regular class pass class. It was a legit workout, and because there it's live and they're the people, you can't really see anyone because you just make them all small and you only look at what she's doing.

But there's the feeling of a class where you have like the feeling of responsibility to keep going, the accountability. So it's nice. I've tried with the other things and I'm just sort of like Peter out, so it is I highly recommend it. Well, I'll be doing it. She's not doing it this Thursday, but i'll be doing it Saturday at one If anybody wants to work out with me, I'll be on it. I might be able to and then you know, I have like little one pound weights

and I've a met but before I didn't. Amazon was slow, so I was just using pasta jars of like spaghetti sace and um. Sometimes she has you use a chair that you stop up and down on. I pushed men against the wall because I'm like an old lady and I get nervous about falling, so I look on the wall and do it. But whatever, what was up the yoga like not yoga, but like they're standing on their

hands against the wall at the beginning of this. I don't know what that was, Like what workout is that where it's like, oh, this is just I think it's like showing off for the guys, Like that's totally I'll do anything nothing so um okay. So here we are finally at the fun part of the show, the performance, And this is where it got really fun for me. Were you guys all feel it like I felt like it kicked off. We had Rudy and Nat up top and it was a Shawn Mendez song that I didn't know,

and they were great. I thought she was so cute. She was such a blast. He is so sort of grounded. He has a similar quality to Sheridan, Like they're very you could tell they've performed a lot. They're good partners. They are like they let their ladies shine without getting um driven over. I thought it was so fun I just loved it. Who wants to go first, Rob Benedict? What did you think? I'm just finding the faces on my cheat sheets so I know we're talking. Did she

have that? Did she have that big zipper crotchs? She had a lot of hipper crotch I thought they did a really great up. I like her in general. She's a fun thinger. It was it was fun. It felt like confident. I liked it. It was really theatrical. The it was just it was it was fun. Yeah, yeah, it was great. She was great. She has a great voice, and she's like a rascal, and she seemed like a true performed like you could see her killing it in the bar band like that's really fun, nailing it in

Austin and some cool fun club like. I felt like she knows how to put on a show. She was actually the exact one who made me think, Oh, I wonder if they've been in bands and stuff like, like she felt like she'd been in She felt like she had the tops of a lot of hours under her belt performance honestly, and I again, this is my opinion. I don't know, but I like him too. I like

him a lot. He seems he seems like a smart dude who kind of gets it, and you almost wonder if he's thinking about the music more than the relationship. You know, he picked he picked a great singer, like he she was the last one left and she kind of picked It was sort of like right, that that what Savannah could have when she thought she was going home? Why not just pair up with that guy Deane? Like

he was a doer? Why not? And so yes, and I think picking a good singer like that's why would have been so cool if they sang initially two for each other, because picking a good singer is actually the move because if you like them musically, you can tour with them and not be along with them and it's fun, like yeah, you can pretend and pretend you're and make

some money. They seemed like he seemed amused by her or not that is like look at this far call like and they felt, yeah, I think picking somebody that you perform well with yeah. Um. So then number two we had Chris and Bree and my god, he has a great voice. I found her very stressful to watch her, me too, she was so theat her cool and they even called her out that like he looked at her,

and she was worried about playing to the crowd. There was something a little musical theory, like like putting on a show in her Limai dress, Like there was something more panic inducing watching her. And he was just in the pocket, confident. He like he was very sexy. Yeah, I like a great song too. He actually believably felt like he was into her. I I take back what

I said last week. Well, her dress was completely wrong for the type of show they were doing, Like she was trying to move like she was in like jeans and a leather jacket, but she was wearing like a floor length gown with long sleeves, and it was just like bizarre, and so it made her seem more erratic. Dress. Yes, if she were wearing like a cool, chill outfit, it might not have seemed so manic, but there was something like so weird about the dress and the way she

was moving that was just not right. Speaking of Drisan dresses, So Katie texted us the ad that they keep running for Claire and that red dress for the Bachelor, and Laura looked texted, this looks like a Russian dating site. It really does. It looks it looks like it looks like an old Valentine or something. It just looks really weird. It's so dated. And then during the ad they make her dress like sparkle a little. They give it sort of an animated quality, like there's like a Ryan Stone

sparkle on it. It's very Crystal Gale, Like this is rough. If they're really begging people to join, like she's gonna have like a serious breakdown from this, so embarrassed. If it really please someone, date Arden anyone, which so many hearted Katie, She's I don't think she's going to be the Bachelor, actually, I just I think I think they're gonna be able to film until one, and then she'll be like what like fifty Like they'll just be like,

she's not gonna do it. She'll be like, yeah, well she she's thirty nine now, you know, she just turned thirty nine, so she'll be forty by the time they can say, which is amazing. But she's the wrong one. She's yeah, it's not it's not it's not gonna work. I would love to watch a four year old. I would love that. That's all the wanting forever is for

them to pick up a personal one. Yeah, there's so many fantastic ones that I know that I would nominate, and that if they do go with a different bachelorette, they're gonna make it drama. Whatever it is that it can't be her, how are they going to pull back? Let's they just brush it on and they like buy her off and they're like, She's like, oh, I fell in love and the quarantine my my eighth grade boyfriend

came back. Like they're gonna give that like for like two million dollars and like buy her silence and make her, you know, pretend and let just make that in and of itself. The Two Hours Special. That was her choice that she like, you know, I felt for buddy. He's been there all the lae he lived next to. Yeah, it's like my gardener for she's she's not balls. So then um, they said you do not take your eyes on like he was. He was all over her. Um.

And then Kesha starts. It's asked like about their feelings and he says, um, Chris says, I really am falling in love with Oh. She says, I really am falling in love with him, and then he kisses her hair. They're cute, Yeah, such a good song. So the meanwhile, backstage, Jamie is freaking out and jumping up and down in a white dress, up and down like a like this weird sort of like breakdancing frog like cheerleader, weird pre

game in her like romper. She was freaking out and she wasn't doing like these like take a ship poses in like alley and it was so psychotic and she was like I just like I don't want to ruin it for him, and then like she did fine, but it was like immature. It just felt like she's not ready. So then Becky, Becca and Danny are up and he starts with the kids and she winces and like ay from him on the and she was so musical theater theatrical, like oh, like so that's I I remembered who she was, Anna,

what did you think of Becca? What did you think of Becca and Danny? It was brutal um. I don't think Beca is that great of an actor. It was really awkward. I felt she was kind of like, I

don't know, it was weird. It was definitely weird between It's like that thing when like I don't know, like where you I feel like it was really relatable that she was like I can be with him and she couldn't, like she couldn't help but show well every single judge I feel like with saying what you can't say, they're like you seem like great friends at the beginning of

a great friendship. It may not be reciprocated. She's pulling away from you, but you feel like this is a strong friendship there, like there is no I felt badly for Yeah, and the performance was not good. The song was not great, and he wasn't great, and he he's trying to do it. I feel like his yeah, just it just wasn't he tried to have making their energy there. There wasn't he tried. And they're like they're in their

stylist clothes. They've been like put through there and they're Sandy and Danny the last scene of Greece, and they're like trying and it's just not happening. I think it was.

It was like weird that they were in those clothes because it also made them less like themselves, Like it's like that's not really a great thing to where for your first performance, like an outfit that some random person selected for you, like you'd must have they must have thought they were so uncle that they needed to set them up. Maybe they thought, okay, like, let's just give them a shot. And I don't know, Anna, what did

you think watching I don't know that I wasn't. I really like the ones where I'm like really blown away by their performance, but um, it was hard to watch. So the middle what is it called the chorus? Yes, it was weird. It was off. I'm not a music person, but this don't feel right. I thought it was rough, and obviously the judges did too, and the whole thing was just I felt bad for them. I was like, oh, this is their chance, and I don't know they were

no Chris. Chris was my favorite, hands down. So then we have Brandon and Savannah and like Julius watching like a rabbi witch on the sideline singing cheap trick, and um, She's like, people like this can't hide their true colors. And then they go out and he's singing with the craziest face and singing out of the side of his face. Do not do not do not, I mean, they do

not come. It was they thought they sounded so like I actually didn't mind his voice the first week and but like they're trying so hard to seem like a sexy rocker. It was this effect they like it was trying really hard to seem emotional and like soulful or something odd. They harmonized the entire She's singing a harmony the entire time, so looking at each other almost like mirroring their singing. So they're singing at the same time, right, so they're like, you know, I want you to walk me.

You know, they're like singing like that just took all the sexy out of that. I want you to know that I've had to sing harmony and a few things. And the way that I sing harmony is singing whatever note you're singing opposite of harmony. So it doesn't matter if you start to sing harmony, then I'll match your harmony. I will sing whatever note you're singing. Do you ever want to sing harmony? Just put one finger to one

year and this is your note. I will literally imagine if you start to try to harmonize with me, I will then match what your say. Um yeah, so then um Jojo whispers to Jordan's do you think she likes sham and he goes no, that was that Katie is dying, Katie, you loved that? Oh, I could not stop laughing because I was watching it. To me like there is don't like each other, this is contractional. It was interesting watching Jojo and Jordan. I'm like, they're still together, not married,

seemingly happy, not y're happy, Like, what's the deal? What do you think that Jojo and Jordan deal is? I know they have like a house rehab show like MSNBC or something that like Brendan Smith is obsessed with. I've seen some of that. Maybe they feel like it's there, but it's it's like I don't like their personalities enough for them to have a show, but that's fine. But they're like they're perfectly fine. They just like flip houses

and stuff. But they I feel like maybe it works because they have this show and they have like their business partners and they're not married, so there's like not that pressure on it in that way, so we can work together and like, I don't know, I kind of like,

I'm like, good for them, it seems like it works. Yeah, when they're dancing at the Backstreet Boys song and they're they're like, oh, we did That's just our favorite song, Like they have a song they like to trying to feel like like all right, they've become a couple, like yeah, So then they finish, and uh, Juliet goes there fakest hell, and she was so excited when the judges say we didn't feel chemistry. I don't know if it was supposed to be romantic. I don't know where the romances is.

And Julia was literally floating off eight inches off the ground like clicking her heels like I knew it in your face, you fakers, Like speaking of fakers, I'm up next,

Like she just it's the psycho. She can't she has no self awareness that she's completely faking it and it's just obsessed with Sheridan, Like it would be so much cooler if she just didn't comment on everything, like if she just like I was like, oh they saying okay, I was my turn, and like but she has to go like, oh my god, they're so fake and everyone's time.

It's Jessica with Amber and Barnett and then poor Crisp being like I guess this is okay, I guess this is the one for me, like just it's it's awful. So then Juliet and Sheridan sing the song and there he's he's so into her and so charming and locked and calm that they're great together. Watching them, speaking of fakers, they look like a happy couple. But she's completely doing it just to go in your face, Sheridan and whatever. Whatever you know, Santana and Brandon Lauren, what do you think?

I agree? I think she was completely faking it. I don't think she's romantically interested in shared him, but she sees that she has to be with him in order to stay in the game, So she is just playing the game. She is the fakest one on the show. What did you think of their performance? Rob her performance of Julia and Charity Julius performs. Yeah, I mean they're you know, they both have good voices and they sound

good together. That's the thing. But she's the worst. I mean when when Savannah was singing and she and then afterwards when the judges are talking and she's going like shaking her head, no, like no, like giving a little you know, a lot of commentary with their facial expressions. Jojo said, Um, your eyes were locked on her. Love is in your eyeballs, and um, I mean I think she's very much helped their performances. All him is because

he is obsessed with her. He loves her, and they're gonna get far based on his his puppy dog like and he's good. Yeah, And they said you had a Kenny and Dolly vibe. I mean that's high praise. That's high praise. So then next up is that the woman Natasha and Harry Potter Ryan and he starts out playing the keyboard. I thought they were going to get a

bad review because they seemed odd together. But then Jason Mraz was looking at Ryan was so much love the uh and that, and then her voice was so great, and then they were like, what's interesting was the first episode Ryan? And he's saying that John Mayer song sounded so amazing. Yeah, but then he got outshined by Natasha last night, and they're basically they were warning. They're like,

she's going to take off. You better step up, and um yeah, And and I don't think, you know, I feel bad for him because I actually don't think that song last night was perfect for his voice. I think that he's very talented. He just needs to be seeing the right thing. I like both the voices, but I

don't think they well together. No, and that's another part of this like love, then you figure out if you can sing that thing, like like he was so great with an acoustic guitar, you know, just singing a John Mayer song. He should not be builting with this woman who is like wanting to go on every run in the song and like she's like crazy, like her voice

was amazing, but she should be a solo performer. Like there's just like this doesn't make sense for them to very charting with Jamie because you could tell he really liked Jamie. They were really yeah couple when they were staying at Capital and they could they're really cute, like they're a cute little by the two kids in love. It was like puppy dog college arts and they were so cute together. Anna, what did you do? Yeah, I

agree they are cute together. I do think they're like singing styles are different vibes though, like he will he does better on like a acoustic Yeah, I feel like he's just as good a singer, but she's a really like if she's like hitting those notes, like you can't really like try like go up against her, Like he doesn't have cans. I don't know they're different styles. I hope they do. You think there's gonna be a point later in the season where they people have the opportunity

to opportunity to switch. I wondered about that. I wondered if you were locked and low, if you were locked in, because I mean, just to talking about how next week, how crazy Train wants to try again with well, we'll get to that, well we'll about it, which or where um the sniper. I think he's cunning in that that they they he didn't like that, they didn't get good they didn't get good feedback, and she like going off that even though she really I think got through based

on how much Sheridan is into her. But I'm wondering if she's gonna she's the person that would want to switch. And he seems like enough of a sucker like or or Brandon is a game player enough that he would like or I'll try a different girl, you know, yeah, yeah, yeah, And you know, I mean, I'm sure if the producers are seeing that, then then Chris Harrison will like making it up as he goes along and be like, Okay, so there's a rule. So then we have Jamie is

about to come. She's hopping in the back and she can't believe how much she's getting her head, her whole entire life. And it's Jamie and Trevor. Should I read the email that we got about Jamie? Do you think so? Here's an interesting thing we got from one of our listeners, UM, which was just like one of our listeners was so great and sent us this email, UM, and she did some digging on Jamie. Her name on Instagram is Jamie Gabrielle.

Her real last name is Weintraub. She's from my hometown in New Jersey, which is a very Jewish suburb, and her mom works at the synagogue up the road from my parents house. Knowing she's a Jewish girl from Jersey, this Nashville persona has going that she is going on is killing me. But I suppose if she says it's Jamie Gabrielle, then she's Jamie Gabrielle. It's interesting that that's the narrative of this woman. Grew up with her. I I just love it's such an interesting like that she's playing.

I don't know, it was just like a Katie. What do you think? Well? I found it really interesting. First of all, there's not a lot of my people on these shows. And then like a Jewish girl come in and be like this brand new name, brand new persona kind of just seeming like that. But that was that was interesting. I didn't expect that from her at all, But now that I know it, I can kind of see it. It's an interesting thing that this is the narrative is like the Nashville like, you know, they're really

pushing that. Oh my god. It's just it just was like, ha, It's just interesting when people like I always appreciate hearing somebody from the hometown of like this is who they were through high school and then this is like, yeah, that's the American way, you kind of like, you know, I'm sure she moved to Nashville to try to pursue music. And then I mean just was like, you know, she doesn't want to say that she's some you know, just some girl from New Jersey. She needs some sort of backstory.

I think that's a lot of Nashville. Like I did a series there, I think a lot. I mean, it's such a great town. It's so fun. I love Nashville, and I think it's really popular for like, you know, young people to move there and pursue, you know, like I think it's and then it sounds more fun to say I'm from Nashville, you know than like I'm from New Jersey. Like you know, it's like it's like it's a fun there heard of like the singer songwriter from

nest she did like country. Hold on, let me see that she does like country too, right, but she's like I just usually like in my room and right, and so you just wrote stuff in your diaryea hugely. She's twenty one. Also, she out of her I mean she's still be in college. To the performed, I didn't think they were going to get great reviews. He was again, he was really good and he seemed I mean, his voice wasn't as good as everybody. He felt like the guys.

He was locked and loaded, very calming, he had that he was like as as with Sheridan, as with Chris, like he really kind of just kept his eyes on her and was he was a good partner for her, and she seemed young and nervous. And I was surprised how I thought they would get worse reviews from the judges, But the judges just loved it. Were you surprised eyes that the judges loved it. I wasn't at the time. I I didn't love like she was so awkward on

stage again. I know, she's kept kind of stroking his arm, you know, sort of like touching his arm, but she didn't have the chops. It was really hard to watch her physicality. And I felt that was a few people like they just didn't know how to move and they didn't know where to go or what to do. And it's like so often just standing still looks so much more powerful than like being like, oh, like they're just

kind of moving like I was. I thought the judges were going to call her out on that, but they didn't. And then she took the mic and Kesha goes, they're so cute, and she goes, I've just been a long time, is a scared little writer up in my bedroom and I'm really afree to perform, And I had a heart. I mean, this was like it's like okay, she just kept going on. She got the money and I hadn't really her time when he loved myself and I heard a hard time accepting love that I wouldn't be able

to be on stage with out you um. And then kesha Um says, you're beautiful to watch, um, and then she says, I want to give you so much love. You really should feel so proud of yourself right now. And she goes, this is even real life. And then and then she when she got the good review, she went back stage. She goes, when I am performing with Trevor, I feel like I loved And she was rolling around the grass and then she's like freaking out and he was like, you've got a white dress, and she's like,

I'm just like high right now. And then they like made her change her dress for the rose ceremony and her bra was sticking out of her new pink dress and her white bra poking out and um, and then they gave each other roses, I mean, and then Danny and Becca got caught and then she's like, I'm sure Danny's crushed right now. I let him down and uh

it was yeah. She was like, oh yeah, a lot of I've been the people that went to high school work with her, like we have to tend to her or like, oh you know that she's like she's delicate, but when she's high, she's high, Like yes, totally because she's so cute, and she's very like, I'm sure it's always been all about Jamie for every Terran. Don't tell

Jamie he's a cheater, Jamie. Jamie can't handle it, like Jamie's service were performing, you know, delicate Jamie gets and then I'm sure her sisters and her high school friends are like, oh God, here we go. Yeah, I agree. I felt like she just was showing her age at all times, and she can't help it. She just is twenty one. She doesn't know anything beyond that. So it's like I was on TV on a reality show at

age one. It would have been like that, you should not be allowed to say your own thoughts on TV at that point. But so I do feel for her on that level. But she just doesn't even know that it's weird yet absolutely right. She doesn't know how how weird was it. At the Roads at the End of the Road ceremony, it's like they're still trying to do those bachelor things that aren't don't work anymore. So he's like, well, unfortunately the two of you didn't get a rose, so

say goodbye to each other. To each other, you can't go around the corner and think about your dear, like eight friends, you have to that you win when he kissed you. I really do wonderful. A lot of things are going to change week tweek on this show as they figure out what works. Yeah, I think continually just like scat improvised yet this format of the show. And then for me and we were left with Julia going,

I'm wondering if Brandon is still thinking about me? And then we've seen Natasha and everybody going za zzzz tap that vocal warm ups, brutal, justice, brutal. I do appreciate that on the level of like, well, they're all real singers who do have to practice every day and do their warm ups, and like, yeah, it was kind of informative in that way, but it was still um also

kind of weird to watch and embarrassing. It was hard to watch for what who do you think would be the final couple bringing Chris If Julia could calm herself down and accept Sheridan, which she won't, like, they could be in the running but she won't accept it. Or were they going to give it to Jamie and Trevor? No, I think how about what about the first couple? But they don't really feel like a couple. I don't know they can get there, Rudy and that. Who do you think? Hey?

Who do you think it's gonna be? Rob? I'm gonna go Rudy and Matt banah Uh, Maybe Rudy and Matt. Yeah, I don't know, Lauren, who do you think it's gonna win? I think Rudy and Matt or I think Ryanan and Tasha will get very far, but eventually the disparity between their voices will become too much and they'll be kicked off. Hey who do you think? I think it's going to be Rudy and Matt, But I think there's also a

good chance that will be Jamie and Trevor. Unfortunately, just because like they seem that just the show just seems to really like Jamie, the show wants to make her. The show decided the show wants to give her a record contract. They They're like, Okay, if is I gonna work with she and Ryan? Alright? Fine? How about she and Trevor? Which is unfortunate because Ryan really does have a phenomenal they really cute duo that wasn't duo? They? Yeah, And I think Ryan will become successful from this, I

So she says no, really, no spoilers, but they start with one bachelorette and then they bring in a second bachelorette who you know from an American version of the show, so that must be they bring in Lily. They have a mole amongst the guys in

the house. They have the men film themselves throughout and other fun surprises, and it's perfect to watch during the quarantine because it's five thousand episodes long. Keep up doing the great work, Katie. That sounds very fun. I have to say the Australian version is a very it's it's really like the TV version of Prozac. Does that appeal to you, Katie? Yes, definitely. I also love New Zealand.

I love their accents. I could just listen to them talk about anything because it's such just an amazing accent.
