that is our precious American treasure, the groom. Wells Adams on his honeymoon this morning sent me the link. Are you fucking kidding? If we could rewind like the five years ago doing this podcast, if I had killed you, Adams would be sending you on a sunny on his honeymoon and I'd be texted and then I have a backup and Nick Vile, my life, my life s work is complete, my life cycle this after I filmed tomorrow, my life cycle will be complete. Um, you guys were

so excited. So the whole point of telling you this it sounds like real braggy, and it is a little braggy. I was like, we're bragging because by the way we're talking to bachelor reality stars like we have their numbers. That is the proudest that is the best thing on my phone right now. But beyond them, the reason we're telling you this, aside from to brag because it's so exciting, because you know what you listeners are also the ones that enabled us to get access to our heroes. But

like what has been so exciting. We're not sure if we saw the ending of the entire episode. It felt cut short. Katie dr Levine talked to me, what do you we didn't get We didn't get a rose ceremony, so we're not sure if that aired on. I mean, I think it was meant to end in a cliffhanger though, and then we also didn't get whose group dame, uh we know what hometown. We didn't get Avan's hometown. We

didn't get Avans. But I think because there, you know, it was a lot of drama, which I guess we get to in one of the hometowns and it ended there, and I think it was supposed to be um, it was supposed to be a cliffhanger. And and I mean, if you notice, like in the beginning on this, like we don't get the this you know coming up on this episode or we and we didn't get the coming up on the season. So it's like we don't get those little things, so I think that's why it ended abruptly.

What I also want to say, I was thinking last night as I was writing it out, there's seven hometowns to get, like normally they have to do four, so they have to edit in seven. So like of course there was a cliff hair. Let's just get right to it. Let's get right to it because this is my safe place. You guys with us today? Is the Bachelor of the Year? When did you get hooked? So? Uh like like every like every person from South side of Chicago, I got hooked when I was watching it with my girlfriend. Uh and you know, the girlfriend puts it on, like you know, I still watched General Hospital

to this day because of her girl friend important girlfriend. Yeah, and you know, and you pretend like you're not watching it, and then you just peeking, you you you peeking looks. And then and then to three weeks, lady, you like, so wait a minute, so uh so if you look like her, then how are you doing? And then you start acting questions And then like a year or two, lady, you start watching it without him, you know, and now they won't even watch it. Are you still together? Are

you still with the person? Well, you know what I'm saying. You know, things move on things, well, you know what, That's why You're going to be at the birthday Bachelor. That's why I'm going to be at the birthday Bachelorette. You know what, you gotta keep it moving. In the land of reality dating, you got to keep it moving, honey. Question what was your first season you started with and who's your favorite bachelor or bachelorette. First season I started

with was the one with the black one. Oh, like that's the one that I was like, I'm gonna watch this man or female rachel She was a spectacular bachelor as she was great, so gorgeous, like beautiful and still great. You know she has a show with m van van van van Lathan. Yeah, yeah, just great. So that was the first season. Yeah, she she I would say top two bachelorrettes of all time. I'm gonna put Gabby in there.

I love Gabby Little, I love a d I love her heart, and I love that she actually has a person like she's a dangling as as a dangling dangling see dangling, and I gotta get a shout out taste. I've oh, well, well we'll see. I don't know. I'm torn. Okay, full circle moments. So here's how it works, Jackie's basically I'm a psychopath, and I write out the entire episode, so we I will. I'm gonna just I'm gonna take you through it. I'm gonna just walk you through it. Psycho.

See psycho. I see you also, I got and I respect. I respect that the game. I'm here for it. Here we are, We're at hometowns. Gabby once again won my heart. She's nervous about meeting parents, and because she was talking to Jesse Palmer super Dead and um, She's like, I'm always nervous meeting parents. It always scares the ship out of me, always has always will. I love her. I love her, She's great. Are you loving her like I'm

loving her? How are you feeling about these Bachelor's gentlemen overall, Rachel and Gabby? Mean? Look, let me, let me, let me be real with you. I really like Gabby and I'm trying to figure out do I like her as much as I do? Because I dislike Rachel as much as left? You know, like the contrast between the two of them is so stark. I agree with you because I have to say, look, Gabby got they both got the player. The producers like played them and disrespected them.

Gabby had. They both had shitty things happen. Gabby was told you're rough around the edges. We have different values, and she bounced back from that. She didn't use it to fold in up. She was sort of like that guy sucks, but she didn't. She also knew she was a queen and kept going like she didn't use it to like, like, no one like you cancel every cocktail party. You know, right, Rachel was a little too high met Rachel.

Rachel was the one who you know, a group of dudes watching boxing from thirty feet away and nobody makes eye contact with her and she cries for the rest of the night. You gotta show a little mystery. You've got to pretend that you're easy, breezing, confident. Even if you wanted that, you didn't get it and you're freaking out. Don't let anybody. Don't say it out loud, you can privately say it in your journal or something. Rob, How are you feeling about Gabby and Rachel? Very similar? I

really like Gabby a lot um. I think she's super cute and super real um and I feel like we get along so yeah too. But she would be my friend. And Rachel I just I really want to like her, but yeah, she's just she cries at the drop of a hat. I don't love. We'll get into it later, but I don't love the way she handled the whole Tyler thing, Why didn't why did that even happen? Why? You know, I think both women got cheated because it's been half a bachelor season for both of Yes, they

didn't have that many to pick from it. They've been a hometowns where they're like, I think I know him, but I'm not sure, you know what I mean, so far behind. That's a great point. That's a great point. So here we are. We start out, Um, it's Gabby, Well this one. I felt like the date went great, and then we found out that at the end, he's like, You're like, oh, Gabby's gonna get engaged to Jason. Here we are where in New Orleans. He's more reserved, she

sees a future. They're dancing in the street. I loved her throwing beads. I want to get an old man to show me his dick. I mean not just the nipples, you want the whole dick. I want an old man to show me his deck. It's like, that's not gonna

Then the old man goes, that's not gonna, not gonna happen. Yeah, And like I actually felt like that could be like a girlfriend of mine screaming like that, Like I feel like Lauren could say that you know or like you know, like like that's like that actually feels like hanging with a buddy, Like that's funny. And they edited it good for ABC, making the mouse actually like came through and edited it in in a way that was like, yeah, cool,

but there. That's why she didn't get her own full season because they were too scared to give it to her. Um so the uh we find out that his parents are separated and they're going to meet the dad. First, I was obsessed with his dad, his accent, his tears, his flowers, his ben Yet I just and knowing that we learned that Jason wanted to leave and then he

decided to stay. I am feeling I'm really liking Jason a lot in a way that I thought he might have been a dud and I'm actually like, oh no, he's like got a big heart, He's a sweetie pie Jackies, how do you feel about Jason and Gain? First of all, when when I met when when we met the dad, and after the first five minutes, I was just like,

who was the woman that left his mate? And then we saw and then we saw that, we saw, and we saw, then we saw, we got a fun I want to know that story, that story he his heart. I mean, I don't know what you're I know a little bit about what Rob's dad is like. We can not aside from Katie, the three of us come from pretty salty dad's to have a dad to be this emotionally intelligent, steering up talking about his son, like the gentleness but like calm and fatherly. I've never like what

an in touch man. I am obsessed with his dad. It was. It was honestly like Geppetto walked in. I was very Gappetto. It's very Geppetto, and I was just like, I just love this man. I want him to get a real boy. I want I want everything. I want the world for this man. I want the world for this man. I loved it. I like I like Jason.

I've liked Jason because I tend to like contestants who are reserved to our reserves about the whole aspect of this isn't really my thing, but like, I'm here because I'm here for you, right, And so I was looking forward to his hometown because you know that's gonna be

the first time you see him and his element. Uh and he was in his element, and I was like, oh, actually like him even more, Like I can see you together and having fun and it feels like a real connection, so you know, to your point of him being reserved, which I think is like and that and like watching this by the end of this, It's been a long time since I've seen somebody on one of these shows.

And I think Zach is like this for Rachel that I'm like, you know, this guy is not actually here to become an influencer, Like this guy is actually here for real, which doesn't happen anymore, like it's been ruined Instagram ruined like this, I actually feel like this guy doesn't like this aspect. He actually just like maybe I could find my wife maybe food. I was while I was watching, I was like, oh, man, he's really boring.

And at the end when he's like not ready to doesn't know if he's ready for marriage, I was like, why are you on the show? But honestly, listen to you guys talk about it now. Yeah, that, but that does make sense to me. I guess I was looking for someone with just a little more, a little more personality. Just she's got such a great personality and so yeah, there's such a good contrasts, so like, oh my god, and he's like, yeah, you know, you know what, that's

also a good point. You're like, is it to milk toys? At least we know he's got a good car, Katie dr Banana. I'd love to hear from the production team. You guys are are are wind beneath our wings. I think he has a personality. I think he's just a shy guy, and I think she you can like see it coming out, like as they hang out more and more, like he's getting sillier every time he hangs out with her. Yeah, so I think like she's good for him in that way,

you know, there are a nice balance. Yeah. I mean I think he's shy, but I think he is like decently goofy, Like he's just maybe not as like outgoing as her. Like Yeah, yeah, I don't think he's like he's just like quiet, but he's not not like fun I think like for him, for him, I think like you would see at home they would have so much fun together. Yeah. I feel like, yeah bachelorette either and he's like that's what. I also feel like he felt like there was a purity to him and so so um.

Then the dad going, he's a good kid, good man. I miss him, and then he teared up and they have to meet in some public park because like where's he living? Like you know what I mean, like where's his dad? Is he in some fucking weird garage apartment? Like we're dead? You know when you met the mom where you Like when we met the mom, I was like, oh, she definitely she cheated something. She's so himane it and

look I was close with my mom. She would never have fucking cried having seen it, like you've been gone for six weeks, like the tears of like oh, like she almost did like a jump leg rap hog like she almost did like a full leg wrap to her son. Like the amount of as if they've been off overseas at war for like four years and they've finally made it almost like they've just been on like the Valiant Lady COVID ghost ship, Like like I just which I'm going on that boat and tell me I'm going on that,

not to derail is, but I'm going on that. But my mom is going on in October. And I have a friend who works on who's giving me a free room. I heard it's really nice. It looks like I gotta say, it's the first cruise ship that I was ever like I would go on that. I heard it's like actually incredible, like that they actually could have filmed the whole season on it because there's so many different things to do.

But then I heard the guys can't even they they're only like allowed like two percent of like that whole boat and they're not allowed to go anywhere else on it, which is like in such a way we need a full report Paradise because Paradise will be happening this fall. Um. So then we see the mom. The mom is like just alvira hair. That's terrible to say. I'm sorry, it was a lot. And by the way, I'm here for it. I've had extreme hair. I'm not I love a look,

give me a look. But I'm like, that is a mom with a She got ready for her close up, and she's like, best case scenario, Jason has met the love of his life and she's going to walk out to the dart. So he walks in. She starts sobbing, incredible. Jerie like this is why I love a hometown. She's like and she goes, where have you been? And she says, are sweet. Gabby says, he's been in a simulation. Great line. She's right, that's a great line. And he's he's in

a simulation. I was going to leave and then Jesse Jesse Power, Jesse Palmer was like, we're going to Paris. And then he goes, She's amazing. I love his sister. His sister was so cool. He's about their boyfriend. Her boyfriend weird. Oh yeah. I was like, has a boyfriend here? This is toxic? Why are you better than that? I want her on the show. I would think she could be a contestant. She was a door and she she goes, what dirt do you want to give? On Jason, he

didn't get he did everything right. I was like, fuck, he really is the greatest person ever. Like great line. Yeah I did, I you know, like I like the sister, the when when we got to the other house, like dad about bignets for them and stuff like that, the beign and his toast of may the best days of your past be the worst days of your future. I want to like get that tattooed on my face, like that is so beautiful, Arden, would you please get that

tattooed on your face. You know what, I'm so tired that I actually may make a bad decision right right before my fancy job. To me, they would love that at that particularly. That would be a really that would fly at that environment big time. Um. So, then she has the sister could he be with someone like me? And the sister was like, what are you doing? Like, yeah, you're also I loved it. She was like he's glowing. Uh yeah, I think he could be ready to propose.

Like it was like, yeah, that felt like a real answer because it was like, well, what is there something I should know about you? And he's not. Well, then the thing that I did, the one thing that I give to the mom. So and he says, mom, what if I found my wife? And she's like, She's like, I really feel like something's good together. And then she goes, um, She's like, she goes, are you all in? She said, best case scenario is it truly in love and happily

ever after? And then he goes, I'm trying to stay true to myself and I cannot see myself getting engaged. It's not realistic for me. I need space to process. But I liked mom coming in and saying if you were not with her, how would you feel without her? We needed that kind of like hopeless romantic who's maybe ruined ben a marriage to come in that. We needed that. Yeah, yeah, here y, yeah, I mean that's a great that's a

great point. I mean when she said that, even I'm sitting on my couch like damn, that was a good she stuck her landing with what like if that's why we needed her as that. It was helpful for because I am rooting for him, like he's although I do like ear ache, I can't believe him. That's what we call Eric what the age. I do like ear ache. Um, I like him. He grew on me. I thought it

was going to be a douche. They edited him as like the villain episode one, and then it turned out he's so he's so far he seems like that was a really human touching date Katie. I see Katie's gotta I know, I see her. I love this one because we all thought he was going to be a dick. They really he gave him like a weird introduction where it like made it seem like he was like overly cocky or something. But he was, but he has been nothing but respectful and he and the guys like him.

The guys like him. Nobody has a problem with his I mean, as we see with his family. I mean, he is just he seems like a really good dude. And I'm like mad at the first couple of episodes for the way it was edited for just like painting him in this weird light. And the whole time I was like watching and expecting him to be a dick at some point, which makes me feel like he might win because it gave him the journey of being the die. Maybe. Yeah,

I mean, listen, I he is. I know we're gonna talk about his hometown, but he is who I think he's the winner, is the winner? Yes, yes, he is a winner Winter Chicken Winner. He's the winner. Agreed, You and I are in the same page. I will say this. Um. At the end, Gabby says, I am head over heels for him. I can see myself with him forever. I am falling in love with him. It's hard to go first because you remember the last one last. You don't want to be first. You don't want to be first.

You don't want to be first, and you don't want to be in the middle. You've got to be last. Here's the thing. That's the only person she said that about one, and he was the only person that didn't say after the date, I don't know if I'm ready to be engaged yet, because they both did. Oh, Eric, she but she said about she said about Jason, I'm I'm head over heels from that was about Jason. I can see myself. She said it, not to him, but she said it to the camera. She said, I can

see myself with him forever. I'm falling in love with him. But she said to Erica, yeah, okay. Next up, we have Rachel and Zach. We're in Anaheim, gorgeous Anaheim. They climb a ladder to a roof to watch the planes take off. Now here's my She freaks out, don't you know you're don't you realize where you are? You can see the airport. So is it that much of a shock that you're going to watch the Southwest plane take off the land? Could you not hear them? Planes are

incredibly loud. It's like a big thing when people don't want to live in your airports because I don't I don't know if y'all notice. I don't know if y'all notice or not, but famously, you can't hear planes from the ground. You can't. You can only hear them from from up by open open field. Why that's why she was so confused. She couldn't hear it. She couldn't hear she freaked out. Dr Bibi's Did you think she was like overacting there? Yeah, yes, look I have Rachel. I

can't everything she does. Now, I'm like, yeah, yeah, agreed. We're all where do you think she was? Do you think it was at Van Eyes or Burbank? Well, they're in Annaheim. I think that Danny Ago or whatever the j W C j w G. Okay, So then um Zach is um gonna tell his parents now he is like, I also think he is true, Like Jason, He's like, I am, I still am. I told you I was, and I am falling in love with you. And then

they kids like, she is so happy with him. They would have such a nice, basic happy They would be so happy together. If if I feel like the human heart loves to sabotage itself, because she would. He's a good guy, he loves her. They love planes. He would take care of her. She could have her like Disney princess thing. He would let her do her plane thing and then and then, but she's gonna pick Tina. I know she's been on t No since like episode three

or four or whatever. You got there, Yeah, yeah, and he got the first. He got that one on one Dayton Paris like, she's she's been, she's been on them. And immost talk to me because because you walk in the house, Yeah, and you see right in front of you the star of soaring over California, Patrick Putty, fucking Putty Putty is sitting there. You can get you can get to the front of the line on soaring on each coast with him by your side. Like, yes, I was,

I was, I was taking it back. I was like, I love this, I love this, I love this family. I love Uncle Pat. I love the family. The fact that Uncle Pat was like, I'll show up for this. I won't show up for the backyard movie, but I have Putty, but I will show up and be like just to put a reminder to show people that I still look good. Doesn't this look like this with Zach looks like a little bit though, Yeah, most Chief Wigham from the Simpsons. Um, Robbie Biebe, how did you feel

about this date? Um? I think he's a really good guy. I think he's really good guy. And he's just and he's got nostrils that just go on forever. He's got a radio voice. Um, I like he could uh really like his voice. And his dad kind of has the same voice. Uh. Yeah, I like the dad too. And Putties and his Putty as his uncle and Putty is his uncle. Yeah. And you know, and I honestly that Um the show they had in the at the end of the day where they showed them things from their

journey to the family, I thought, Okay, the producers like him. Yeah, I mean that everybody know. The producers are trying to give her the best date ever for her the most like this hits her heart strings. They gave her the plane, they gave her the dad moment, they gave her the like watching yourself as a movie star. Remember when you kissed him here? Remember when that happened? Here's you. When they said we went to a movie premiere, as if it was a movie premiere, I can't, like, oh really,

what was this movie premiere? And like and you guys were all in it. It just was like, but that they actually you could tell they loved it. They were they fit together. Yeah. Oh that's probably why the uncle Putty couldn't be in it, because it wasn't a sack. After he's like, oh, that's not Union ABC only ABC only paying me for afternoon rate. Pay me for that

full day. Right when the dad with the bald head, the dad was talking to to Rachel and he was like, I mean, look, in the situation, you could fall in love with the monkey. Remember you said that to her, and don't she's fragile. Don't say that she's gonna. Don't say that she's no. The dad had some weird things, but then he full circled it and then he said to his son, your heart might be broken, but it also could be filled with incredible Rachel love forever and ever.

Real these dads, who are these dads? And the dad was sort of like, you're hot, I'm all in it seems good to wrap it up. Like you got big bazooms. I like talking to you. Let's do that. You got those big old buzooka zooks, you gangs. Okay, you could be my daughter. Like it was like, seems good to me. You know, I really liked this family because, you know, like Tino's family was very look I was, I was kind of was with them on some on some of

the ship as well. But Zack, But but Zack's family was really like they were real, but not in a they were real in like a real way right playing the game. They were playing the game. They were going along with it, but they were They're nice people and they're also just saying, hey, you know, like this seems like it could be real, so you can have good love, but if not, you can't get your heartbroken. Whereas Tino's family probably just saw straight through just like this ship

is fake. Every that's what every filming does. It's like, well then he didn't know that. When he was like i'll see in six weeks, mom, I'm going on the Bachelor, I'm like that's like that's the show. And I'm sure they were all psyched. And when they're all like who whoa, whoa, whoa you've got they also treat everybody like every lead like she's like a whore, Like you've got three other men you're dating. It's like, yeah, that's the name, that's the show, dude. And they knew that, Um, I love

the mom. The mom was like, what you see is what you get, and then she goes, I probably just met his future wife. They just fit. And then he said I'm in love with you, Rachel. Yeah, And I was like, say it back. I know. I wanted her to say I wanted it to give it to me, give it to me. He didn't. She didn't. She didn't because it's for Tina. Got any final thoughts on Zach or Jason. I really like Jay's I Jason a lot. I like Jason a lot. He feels he feels like

a regular boyfriend. And what I mean by that is, you know, like I mean, there's some like, for instance, like I I can be very much like if I'm on, I'm on. But if I want to be off, I'm off. But at home, you know, I'll be silly and I will sing the songs and I'll make that you know, and things like that you'll watch, I'll watch. I'll watch it all so, you know, because you're with your partner, right, So he seems like I'm giving myself to my partner

type guy. I like Zach too. I like Zach too, you know, I like him the best out of the three that she or the four that she is going on the hometowns with. So I like his family though as well. So you know me too, Robbie. Yeah, I agree with you guys. I've come around just talking to you guys about Jason. I think maybe maybe, and I tend to do that, but I you know, maybe it's exactly what she needs because he's gonna put her first.

Maybe Er, you know, Eric's got his own stuff, and it was definitely more about Eric during the Eric date, which we'll get into, but but the Jason date, you know, he's the kind of guy that he'll put her first and it'll be you know, she'll be the crazy one in the relationship, you know, and he could be steady. Maybe Now the editors and they might have also been fooling us. They did like on her date on her early date with Eric is when she sort of freaked out,

He is going to die and it's back and it's bad and he has good days and bad days and he's struggling, and um, the dad rallied and the mom is taking care of him, and the dad rallied to get it together to be on camera

to see his son and to meet Gabby. And I have to say I loved his family and I loved how Gabby. I thought Gabby because she's an icy you nurse and I think she has a lot of compassion anyway, but I felt like she was so um well spoken about, you know, just about how like how much the mom's care has probably helped keep him alive, and be like like just like her respect for the mom um and then the dad's respect for I see you nurses, and then the mom saying, you cannot um. More than anything,

family is important. You always have to stay together, no matter what, you always have to be together. And I felt like I was like, oh, no, is this the end of the date. But then they actually got whereas Johnny didn't really get more date. After going right to the family, they got they went to this cute in and um, he was like, my dad is not in a good place, and today meant a lot to me. And he says, it surprises me how much I like you. I was shocked by all this because I honestly didn't

think he liked her that much. He says, I'm really grateful you're here. I'm genuinely happy about it. Um, I'm really feeling for you. I think I might even be falling in love with you. And um, she said they raised a really good man. I always wanted to be with someone like you, but I never knew it was possible. I just got chills. I just got chills. And he says, and she says, I am falling in love with you, and then he um, and then she said, I really mean what I said. I am most definitely falling in

love with Eric. And then she said Eric's hometown could change the rest of my life. I have chills um after this, after his hometown, I was like, it's a wrap, y'all. It is a wrap. Rap, It's a wrap. I mean, listen the way I ranked him Eric, Jason and in uh, Johnny right and and Johnny. You know, like there's fun there. And it's like, so, I'm gonna say a couple of

things to why I think that's a wrap. There's fun there, and fun is important, and and and and silliness and all the good things that make you smile every day is important. But then those days when that's not there, that's when the relationship, that's where the relationship comes from. That's where the relationship falls or strengthens up right, It's like, do you want to have fun or do you want to have a family? Right, And she wants to have

a family, right. And with them, there was just such a calmness to to them, right that that I didn't see with especially not with Johnny. I saw it a little bit with Jason, but there was a calmness to them. There was awaitingness to their a weightedness to their uh, like their time together. And then you go you experience something deep like that that's an afrodship that ship works. Ship works. Do you think that like that? You mean it just every it hits all like it hits every

it hits it bids sex, everything in the paths. It hits the heart and the pants. And when she was like you don't get family, I mean I saw them together and I was like, oh, they can have fun, they have energy, they have sexual chemistry, but they can build a family together and they're not going to quit

on each other. I was like, all right, I think you still have I mean in some ways, it's almost like if you you know, there's sometimes like on these shows they'll have somebody go skydiving together or something, because like if you if you have that adrenaline or like, it builds this like connection and in a weird way, you're just like to point, like going through something so real that you never normally would this early on, like if you can handle it and you can show up

in the right way and then to let your guard on and like confess something up your feelings at that day, locked a loaded, put a bow on it, wrap it up. It's done. Like if you go through a trauma with somebody, you know, yeahed Katie, I see you've got some thoughts and I want to hear them, Honey. I was just gonna agree that, Like it seemed like from the beginning

she and Eric just had this like connection. The way they acted at the hometown, it really like like you were saying, like, Chickie, it's just like they they had such a connection there and they seemed like a couple that had been together for years, like they had that didn't they like they kind of had just that communication with each other, like they just got it and they could just like look at each other and like you know, like have a little glance and know what each other meant.

Like they just seemed like they just have a really good connection with each other. And I do kind of think it's gonna end up being them together. And I think they would be I mean, assuming he does nothing that does you know that that is bad. He's a great guy, and I feel like they would be really good together.
