Hello, all my bunnies. This is Arden coming to you from my house. I am with our dearly beloved Anna Tanna hosny A. Hello, And believe it or not, I don't think we have ever actually missed a podcast, and

we are not actually missing one right now. We are intentionally muting ourselves just so that we can take the opportunity to listen and read and learn, given the state of what is happening in the country right now, to our family of listeners, to in particular to our black listeners, we support you, and we are so grateful that you are a part with of of our world. And we want to educate ourselves so that how we can be an agent of change in this deeply flawed society and

and we want to help change it going forward. Anna. I don't know if you guys know, but she hosts this wonderful podcast called Ethnically Ambiguous, also on My Heart, about what it's like to be a brown person in this country, and she put together a list of resources. Um it's tagged on her Twitter page at Anna host

ni Anna take it. Oh yeah, so it's pinned on my Twitter and it's just a donation resources Google doc I made and it It has over twenty different places you can donate your money from the Black Lives Matter UH just there regular site and then the l A site because we're based in l A. There's the Action Bail Fund, UM Black Visions Collective, which is a Black lead,

queer and trans organization UH. And there's Free Them for All Public Health, the National Bailout Reclaimed, the Block MPD one fifty, many many organizations where you can give your money to help. How you can I have the go fund means for George Floyd, Tony mcday, David mcintee, just these men, black men who were murdered at the hands of the police. You can find resources all over the internet to educate yourself to understand listen to what black

people are saying. There's nothing wrong with realizing that you were wrong or you thought about something in a way that that might not have been the right way to think of things. So just understand that you can be wrong and it's okay as long as you learn from it and you do the work. I also like that what you were saying we were talking about earlier, just

let it begin with me. You were saying, you know, if you if you maybe have been around family members and you hear them say, you know, say things to actually speak up and tell people not to speak like that. Just things like that that you can just just in your own like start your own hula hoop. That's what's the thing you can start with. Yes, it starts in your homes and it starts in your community. So you

need to speak up. If people are saying anything racist, you need to point it out and need to explain why it's damaging. And yeah, just pointed out. And you might think, I'm just me. What difference is one person going to make, But it actually does make a difference because it starts small and it grows. We care about all of you, and there is still a pandemic out there, and truly this podcast it sounds corny, but it got me through my own personal hardest times in my life.

And we really all of you. We care about all of you so much. We love your emails, we love hearing from you. We will be back soon. We hope you're all safe and sound. We hope your families are safe and sound. We're thankful for this merry tribe of like the people that are you know, every bug finds its light, my friend used to say. And I feel like we have this bright light and there's all these little beautiful butterflies flying around this light, and I just

adore all of you. It's the most warm I truly believe it's the most warm hearted crowd of people I've ever been a part of. So um um, I just wish all of you well and will be back. And and because we also know that humor um humor, and it helps the soul, which then helps you be of service to others. So with that, I'm just sending you all lots of love and strength and safety and we will be back soon.
