You and me baby aint nothing but mammals..


We are mammals, like the animals. We have primal instincts within our DNA.


We have emotions, that are supposed to guide us, to make choices, instead, society tells us to SUPRESS our emotions. to Numb out and just disconnect through scrolling on our phone, online shopping, eating, drinking, gambling (insert drug of choice)


All emotions are good and useful. It is incredibly healing for us to allow ourselves to feel all emotions - the good, the bad and the ugly.


Shadow work (aka roasting ourselves ) is a great way to reconnect to the parts of ourselves that we are not so proud of. often we suppress our shadow emotions, as they bring us shame or fear. 


The only way to really heal, is get to know that shadow part of ourselves. Once we can identify our shadows, we can name them, and that helps take away their power right away.


Rage, tears, roaring and frustration all have a place at the table.
