POCcorn - Creed III

The POCcorn podcast reviews films created, directed and/or starring People of Color. Each show uses four questions to describe our thoughts on the film, plus one POCcorn moment we simply MUST discuss in detail.

In this episode, we discuss Creed III and select the "Empty Boxing Arena" scene as our POCcorn moment. As Michael B. Jordan's directorial debut, this film checked all the boxes. There was drama, there was action, there was love (both romantic and platonic), there was family dynamics, and there was the classic underdog storyline that has been so cherished by Rocky/Creed fans everywhere. Loved every moment of it. And that POCcorn moment was truly an iconic cinematic experience. Listen in!
