For this week's POCcorn segment, we review The Six Triple Eight. Tyler Perry's newest production was surprising in the best way. The untold story of black, female WWII soldiers being given an impossible task, and completing that task with time to spare is an incredible tale. Not to mention, the timing is perfect. At a time where black women feel betrayed by their own country, it is encouraging to see a film where black women prevail despite the hardships they face. Listen In!
