IN THIS EPISODE: It’s “Thriller Thursday” when I step away from the true stories I share during the week and bring you a story of fictional – Creepypastas, science-fiction, classic horror tales, and more. If it’s dark or strange, and it’s fiction, it’s fair game. Tonight it’s a story I found just a few days ago at Creepypasta.com called “The Doctor” by a talented new horror author who goes by the moniker TechniGoth (link below). Paramedics are trained to face life and death with calm precision, but what about the unseen forces lurking in the spaces between? In an abandoned hospital nestled deep in the woods, one rookie EMT learns the truth about the profession’s superstitions. Some say the dead don’t clock out, and tonight, she’ll discover just how true that is. This is a bit different than most stories I narrate, as the protagonist is a female – but rather than try to put on a false voice for her, I’ll just use my normal speaking voice for her character. I’m sure that will be the less-annoying way to go. But I’ll still try to create different voices for the rest of the characters as I come to them.
