Today's conversation is about a topic that is very close to my heart: Instagram! And sure, some people may roll their eyes because when we think of Instagram these days we tend to think of influencers, mass followings, and sponsorships. But for those of us in the wedding industry, Instagram is used for a completely different reason.
Bianca Trevino, our guest for today, knows this better than anyone. Bianca is the founder of The Wed Strategy, an Instagram marketing resource for wedding professionals, and Bianca Nicole and Co, a wedding planning firm in Austin. She saw a gap in the Instagram marketing space when she was trying to learn how to grow her wedding planning business because most courses and resources focused solely on growing your account as a personality or influencer. There was no marketing information specifically for wedding professionals who aren't necessarily trying to make it "huge" but rather just trying to become more visible within their market and to book more clients directly from Instagram.
