W uh so wait, does this is that person connected to this other person? Do they do we know why th they they're around? Are is she her mom? Is like what's good like it's a lot of like let's try and figure out what the plot is because One of the issues that always happens in these movies is so clear that no one has like dramaturged this. No one has had like, let's maybe do like a table read of the movie to hear where the fault and like get

you know, critical feedback from our friends of like, does this part make sense to you? You know how you usually do if you're writing art? You'll like try and get somebody's opinion that you trust to be like, hey, does this through line makes sense? Do you understand that this is like a revenge arc for this other you know, like that kind of thing? Yeah. So the entire time we're like, well they think it makes perfect sense.

You can always tell that the people who are editing it I know think it makes perfect sense. And they've Vital pieces of information or they haven't said a specific thing. Yeah. But they just are all like, well, we all making the movie know that this person.

is that person's cousin or whatever. So therefore the audience gets it and is like, no, no, no, no, no. You need to actually add like certain things. So a lot of it is trying to figure out what the fuck is going on. And I felt like this happened a lot. Oh, for them to be. For me, it was, yeah, it was a lot of like, what what?

I also hopefully we've both seen Terminator 2. Yes. Speaking of which, sorry to interrupt, but uh I read the description for the first one. Um I just was reading it. So Penetrator Two is what we watched. We have not seen Penetrator One. No. To be clear, they're based off of

Terminator. So it's just Terminator one and two. Yeah. Which is why I was like What's it why why do I need to see the first like who cares? Yeah, no. Couldn't find the first one, so I was like, Oh, I had to see the first Terminator before I watched the second one. Exactly. You were like, Hey, watch this. You don't need to know anything other than this. So to go back quickly.

Uh just a quick take two take two. Take two. Uh AVN Top 500. Yeah. So this is a top five hundred adult film that we've got to do. Oh. Okay. The future of the free world is at stake, and the penetrator must jump back in time to protect Melissa against an evil and advanced cyber. Yeah. You know what I think is really hilarious is that the the episode where s where I go on like a long form rant. about plot not making sense is the one where you're like, I actually read the wrong synopsis. It's like my mistake. Oh that's funny. That was too funny. I mean the synopsis makes sense, like that you just read, but it definitely wasn't like what you just read was not

made super clear in the movie itself. Like we did a lot of piecing because I think, you know, people might want to know like we don't read these synopses beforehand. So we're going in Completely unaware of like what's supposed to be happening. Exactly. We've just picked one that looks like it has a lot of like You kind of do skims to start with. A little bit of a skim. Yeah.'Cause we did enough where we were like, okay, there's not much happening.

So rather than ever recorded because we were like, Oh, let's watch this and then it's and then it was not plot one. Yeah, no plot. So we were like it was just like sex scenes. Yeah. And you go, Okay, well I can't really talk about that for forty five minutes an hour. I know. It's fine, but uh There's not a lot to say. Yeah, there's not a lot to say. Yeah. Uh yeah. Yeah. Well, there's there's about like four or five that were like on a some DVDs that we watched. Um there were like nineties, two thousands. And those all had trailers and some of them had trailers for other trailers where we just were like, Oh, that's cool. We were like, Oh my god, I wanna watch that. That looked weird and like There was a vampire one. Yeah, the vampire one is always the one I think of.

Angels or something. Yeah, something like that. I think I might have found it and Yeah. Have them on a hard drive or something. Oh but I gotta kinda react. Yeah. Um Yeah. Yeah,'cause there was a few that we went, Oh, that looks fun, like crazy. Totally.

Total side note for our listeners. I think I kind of think it's a little bit nice that we're starting this one just like kind of shooting the shit and giving some story. There are pivotal moments where they just jump to another spot. Yeah. You don't know why they're there. Yeah. So Uh this happens

All the time. Yeah. Nonstop. Nonstop. Sometimes it's hilarious that it happens. It's almost like watching a movie where they had filmed it. Yeah. They'd filmed the exposition. They'd filmed the transitions. Yeah. Uh one like an example is, you know, say like they would uh need to uh get away. Yeah. Like uh which is from the turn the two new the rebot the two robots.

Is that T one thousand? Is that what it is? Yeah, is it T one thousand? Like an older robot, older model is like has been sent back in time to save d like Yeah, T one thousand. Dawn is the daughter's name. T one thousand is Robert is Robert Patrick. Yes. He's the like morphing uh you know So he's been sent back. And T one hundred is the Arnold Schwarzenegger one. Yeah. He's been sent back in time to like Yeah. So when they're running away.

suddenly we'll be cut to a different section and we're like we didn't know. Like remember when they when they were like what there was a moment where there was a chase scene that looked like it was happening in an alleyway. Yeah. But then all of a sudden one of them was up on a roof, like on a high building, and the others were down below and running away. And I was like, Oh how did they get there? How did I be any jumping? We didn't even be any I was even like I didn't even I don't know.

how he got up there. Like I thought we were on the ground level. I know. But now apparently apparently he's up here on the roof looking down at them. Like it was just Well and that that's the the the the crazy bit about this film in general is you know the cuts. The cuts. It's that i you you will see an action scene in a normal movie. Like s think Terminator 2 and

when he picks up John Connor on the motorcycle. Yeah. And T one thousand yeah is chasing him like in the big truck thing. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You know, you know, the going down the highway. Yeah. Like just imagine they're in the mall and he's like, He saves John Connor and then it's huts in there in the desert and he's like,

Okay, like I'm your friend now. Yeah. So what? Like like they just cut all the action. Yeah. Right? There's no No, because they don't have the budget. But the the weird thing is They do a lot of gun violence in this. Yeah. There's a lot of shooting with shotguns. Yeah. And there's like moments where like he pulls up and just like you remember the scene where she has the flashback from the first? movie in there. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But you know it's like Michelle who's supposed to be like

Connors. Yeah. Uh she has a like a flashback to the first film. Yes. But it's Not. Yeah. Because I'm pretty sure I read that in the the first penetrator it's a different actor playing the the P because I think it's he's P one hundred, T one hundred. Oh, okay. Uh I'm pretty sure that's what it is. Um, that it's a different actor. So we see this flashback. Yes. That's supposed to be the representation of what happened in Terminator One. Yeah. Where he goes into the

uh the police station in the first film. Yeah. He's like Sara Kana here and the y and the guy's like, Ah, you gotta leave and and then the Schwarzenegger says the famous line, I'll be back. Yeah, yeah. And he goes and he takes the car and he bulldozes the car through the police station. Yeah, yeah, yeah. In this, we just see a flashback of Like these guys hang out, like we th it doesn't look like a police station. It looks kind of like an office. Office, like maybe a newspaper office. Yeah.

And he just bolts through, kicks down the door, and starts like shotguns. Looting everything. And the guys are like flying left and right. Like they're just like And he's just like bang and it's like full on fake. Like it's Yeah, it's wild. And it's yeah and they got a fake they got a fake shotgun that like does the Yeah. Yeah. And shoots like blanks. Just like you're like, oh, this is intense. Like it gets weirdly intense at times. Yeah.

Um, or nothing at all. Yeah. Right. Like it's either the one scene where he kills everyone in a flashback. Yeah. And then there's other moments where we were like, oh, they're gonna do that. Big fight scene and oh wait, nope, nope. And now we're they just suddenly in a warehouse. They're just hanging out. I guess. They just jump to the Yeah. And even then you would think that there's moments where people would have sex. Like there you think there might be key moments that would be.

Like moments where in the original you're like, that should be a sex scene. Yeah, yeah, yeah. But they don't know because I would argue that he probably like I I wouldn't be surprised if whoever wrote and directed this had like a four-hour cut.

of this film. Oh right? Like he just gotta do like a show. Yeah, yeah, yeah. They were like, dude, you gotta it's gotta be an hour and twenty anyway. What are you doing? Well because then you're trying to fit the sex plot right. Like off hour though, I gotta make room for it. And so he was like, okay. And to cut a button like And so you get this idea like he probably wrote all this stuff. Yeah. And they were like, we don't have time to shoot all this. So they basically just shot

Yeah. What is bait like to be clear, pretty much the first 20 minutes, 20 to 30 minutes of the second filmed an hour and 10 minutes. of this film. Yeah. Because of how much sex there So you get, you know, the voiceover, you get like a little recap. And then it just goes on and on and on and on. And all the beginning where she's in the like quote unquote nut house, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. The the psych ward. The psych ward.

It's like an hour. I know. This is like maybe fifteen, twenty minutes in the original film. It's like really like there's a lot of so many shots in this. Like, okay, can we go back to the first So the first sex scene was like a flashback where she's doing her and she's like, oh, I had this dream of my daughter getting fucked by the pern the penetrator. But then our first sex scene is when the f the the one who's been sent back to kill her daughter Shows up.

and there's a police car and he this was the other thing that you noticed. Like every single time a penetrator meets someone and is like, we're gonna start fucking, there's no lead up. It's just like someone's head gets grabbed and brought towards a crotch or l and like or like we're going to have sex and the next scene it's like them fucking and like everybody's naked.

Made sense. It was great. Yeah. Because we went great, just get to the point. Okay. But all of it is like this. The whole thing. But so the thought is like that. Like that's what's weird to me. I know. Yeah. Uh yeah, I I thought Um a few thoughts. Boom, this was what I was gonna mention. There was a shot in when he's fucking her on the police car. The shot is from below. So it can see they're on the hood. It can s below his balls from below up

I was gonna connect and pan over. Yeah. Like it's a it goes to an aerial shot in a one little shot. And they use the crane a lot. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I was like this is very for something that doesn't take any time to do any of the action, which is like when you would think you would want to use a crane, they're just like

Yeah. Yeah. They they use the crane in almost every sex scene. There's a crane. They they were like we bought a crane. Yeah. And we're gonna utilize this. Yeah. And so you get these sex scenes where you know there's just suddenly it's like it's on somebody and then it pans out a bit and then it moves up and suddenly it's like bird's eye view and then it moves around. Oh, okay. So you're not getting a lot of like POV. No. You're not getting a lot of um

Like traditional shots, I would say. Yeah, I would agree. Traditional. But you get a lot of these like crane shots. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Moving like they're like almost from like above. Yeah. Yeah. Um And like nothing's reused, which is nice. Yes, I appreciated that too. Yeah, I w what I was gonna say is Yeah, that was uh was it gonna be like that it is a c they've clearly have a crane. Yeah.

That they're using. Yeah. And that they they have things like the cop car is an old cop car. Yeah, it's an actual cop car. And it comes into the shot.

at like wheel level. Yeah. You see it come in. I was like, oh you you know, it's not just like a car. Yeah. You know, they like it's just this low shot and comes in. I know. Door opens. You see the police officer's feet and this is woman. But what I I was like, oh, there's all pretty well shot. Yeah. Really interesting about it is Uh she's she just like takes a step to like a little bit to the left and like this Terminator who's naked is behind the penetration.
