I feel very much ready for twenty twenty four. I've been writing down all my goals and all that show y'all know. Last week we did a whole episode on how to create your resolutions keep them following through. You know, it's just a little tips. So I've been following the tips. I don't know what y'all doing, how is your weekend? And how is your holiday?

So I didn't really do anything for New Year's too much. I sat on my patio like the crown drop was right outside my door, Like I can literally see it from my patio because it's in the Adelie in the side of my building.

The crown drops just said it. They do that in Charlotte's. I didn't know that. For Queen Charlotte's. I didn't know that, you know.

So I just watched it from my patio. It was so many people out there.

We enjoyed a lot. The fucking kids, bitch we recording. He literally jumped like Summer sauted off the couch into a place. Yo.

Okay, So my first of all, before I even get into my holiday, my weekend and all that, y'all, we have a special guest when we talked back today, and you know, I should have probably introduced her in the very beginning.

But anyway, here we are, Okay, we have Lisa got three or we talked back this weekend. Later on on the episode.

I'll get into exactly what she does when we get into the meat and potatoes of this episode. But this is my friend, y'all. This is one of my confidants, my big sister. Okay, she's one of my people. She's uh, and my body tried, hey girl, and iced to probably have you. It's only take you two years.

He actually fell asleep with New Year, and my daughter was doing stuff for the New Year, so I stayed out to call her and then I went to sleep.

She was watching it. Let's be creator.

I think it's we don't know what the fuck happened this year, but we got hope for the best, right spolitic as it was.

So the preacher to the churches of William Murphy I heard it was actually a sneaker ball.

It wasn't really even church.

But you know, when you're dealing with church people, anything everything turns turns into church.

Anything you do in the church the church that.

Should look like a goddamn auditorium to me, I mean, but I guess that's our church is be looking.

But anyway, it's a sanctuary.

I am. Y'all know, I don't do the church stuff, so I'm definitely not opposed to. However, these people chose to worship for the New Year. They were playing like the songs about the cuss words and all that.

I do.

You know, I understand where people it's like, oh, it's a time and place where everything they're playing sack your music.

But I for the last few weeks, what have been what have I been saying that Jesus Christ was not a Christian? It was not a Christian? Like this is new age shit, we're dealing with it. Who will to say it can't change? So you can get little people into the church if that's If that's the way you want to do things. You want to reach out, you want to reach the young, the generation of people. You might have to implement new ways of doing things. And music moves people. So I don't see a problem with it.

Saying, and that being dropped, I was just I started moving a little bit, you know what I mean. So I was just like, but this is church, so you know, far be it for me to tell people how to do their religion. But for those people that are out there that think this is okay, also, that's mine. If it's okay for you, But leave the other people alone that are just more sparsely nature and choose not to be a part of that, that's it.

And me, for me, I fell right down the middle, like I was like, this is disgraceful.

What church is this? So I can visit it? You know.

None of that stuff according to the Bible. So I do feel like there is a little issue with the music. But I get where the church is trying to be relatable, right, They're trying to, you know, minister to their flock and the way the flock heres.

So I get that. But for the aunties and the big mamas in the back, that was like, Lord, have mercy, Jesus, I can't to watch nice service.

And that was no aunties in there. It was all people our age. Well, I guess we yell aunties. Okay, it was a bunch of yell aunties and uncles in there.

But imagine if somebody grandma was in there. I don't think that's the church. You think that church markets to grandma's. You think that's who'd be up in there. Because I was spoke to a few people who go to that church, and it's I mean, there's young people. It's a young congregation.

My uh, one of my friends, she lives in New Orleans. She goes to a church where they smoke weed before the service start. The whole carrigation should get high in the park for the service, and that's just a part of that's a part of the service.

Not to but you know, the temple is within you, guys. You know what I'm saying.

Wherever you go, e church, it's you right, and you can make that sacred and holy and do whatever you want to do with it. Because I don't know what's going on in these buildings, don't. Yeah, So you know, along with the publicity he's getting now he's getting some negative publicity.

The pastor of this church, what's his name, William Murphy, Hen's ex wife, Yeah, his ex wife con and John said is coming out and calling him a deadbeat Doddie. He has two cents sons he's not taking care of allegedly. But I mean, I feel like that all of that shit is that's all about right for the church.

If you're making babies with people in the congregation, all the type of retuss ship be going on a church.

So now y'all, y'all pull a hard stop when it comes to music, get out of here. Yeah, I just think you know, in every church the pastor typically is a male typically, but he a man first and a pastor second. So he had humor. You're allowing somebody else to interpret what this word means to you as it pertains to your life. And that's just I don't believe that's how things are supposed to be. So no, man isn't perfect, but if you are, if you call yourself a leader, or you're leading this congregation, you need to be as perfect as possible.

You can't. I feel like now it's a way of life of you making kids, you haveing sex with men and women in the congregation. The people who may not have seen it. What could Boosy possibly be talking about?

The only thing I think he could be upset with. I mean, there's not very much homosexual activity in the movie. Is it's just a love song between Taraji and Fantasia. They sing to one another by a grand piano and then they wake up in the same bed together. I mean it's more suggestive than it is. Like, if you let your kids watch Pea Valley, you should have no problem. I hope nobody let their kids watch pa Valley.

I didn't feel like it was like anything to walk out on, like Boosey said.

So Boozy said, I had to walk out this color purple movie, and two other older couples walked out also because I had my little girls with me and it seemed like a he used a rainbow emoji. Love story, good acting, But whoever wrote the script is pushing the narrative hard. As a parent, I will not let my little girl watch this film. I think oftentimes some of these parents don't think their kids understand what they're listening to, But they understand better than you think. And you're you're really teaching them what the world is. So is there what you want to show your five year old? You know that's a lie. And they know the lyrics they're singing the.

There's a video of Sexy Red and her little son and he's acting so sweet tells her he loves her and kisses her in the cheek.

All right, y'all, So we're back, And like I said earlier in the episode, we you know, last week we talked about resolutions and you know, how to keep them, how to set them, how to make sure you fall through with your girls for twenty twenty four. So this week I wanted to talk about the magic of it all, okay, and how changing your mind changes your world. Right, So we have a super special guest, like I said, Lisa gut Thrie.

All we talked back this week. She has over twenty years of experiencing spiritual work, devination and chakra healing. She's an alchemist, a scientist, and a motherfucker superhero. Okay, and she's my fan. And we argue too, okay, just in case y'all want to know.

Okay, so let's get into this. Tell us about yourself, Lisa and what you do.

Okay, Well, I do a little bit of everything, Okay.

I am a spiritualist, you know, I'm a person that works with others to kind of help guide them.

Right.

I like to say that because I don't like to be other people's leaders, if you get what I'm saying right, kind of what we're just talking about in the internet, you.

Know, segment.

You gotta follow yourself. So I don't like people following me. I don't like, you know, propping myself up to be you know, I'm a light, like a pathlighter, that's what I do.

I like the path. I show you the way, I give you the tools, and it's up to you to use it. Right. So I'm not one of those people that you're gonna come to.

Other people are gonna come to and I'm gonna like, ooh, I'm gonna magically, you know, change your life. So if you're that person, I'm not your girl, but I am the girl for the people that are serious as men, women, whatever, young adults, old adults. It doesn't matter that that are willing to know what techniques that you need to apply to your life to actually see positive changes.

A lot of the things that we experience in our lives, we don't know this because our entire being of who we're gonna be is pretty much set by the time we're about sixteen or seventeen years old. Okay, these particular lower three chakras have already been formed, and so if you want to make shifts and changes, then you have to delve a little bit deep peper into the subconscious mind to reprogram it from what you were not in control of, you know. So that's what I do. I

I have a Patreon, also have a YouTube channel that is still kind of new, you know, I need to you know, I will be creating more content on there. So that's mainly like my passion is helping other people navigate through this third dimension.

What you know, all all these years, all I've done is like pretty much just I've helped people, you know through you know, on social media all over the place. But you know, the pandemic happened and I was home all the time, so I ended up being on this one social audio app and uh, you know, the brand

To Leila conspiracies. You know, it's just basically waking people up to the world around them and allowing people to see that things are not you know, what they always appear to be. Also the power that's within them. So it's like spirituality, but also what is going on in your reality everything all over the you know, that's going on like in the.

News, on social media, whatever. People are a lot of people do not realize the type of world that they live in, and that the thoughts and the things that you believe are not your own, you know. So I spent a great bit of time doing that type of work and I'm on X now, you know, And so that's where I'll be in twenty twenty four. I'll be on XP on YouTube thinking about TikTok. Not sure how that's going to go. I have on Instagram and all that good stuff. But yeah, it was born like the

Out of social audio during the pandemic.

And I think a lot of people during the pandemic discovered, you know, and started to do different things or do things in a different way than how they had been doing it the whole time.

I was no different.

Yeah, So you'd said that most people have their chakras, their three lower chakras in place by the time they're sixteen or seventy. Explain to us what that means for someone who's ignorant to the idea of chakras altogether.

Okay, so the way that, well, I should have said twenty one.

But basically, who you're gonna be, You're already that person by the time you're sixteen or seventeen years old, right, But your first three, your lower three chokers are programmed by the time you're twenty one years old, because every chakra takes seven years. Okay, So the chapra, you see, your chakra, your solar plexus seven years, So that's the

So seven years. So if something traumatic happens to you at age three in the root chakra development period, then that is something that is going to, you know, be contributing to behaviors that you have as an adult. Right. So say, for example, you know, because the root chakra, what does it represent represents survival. It's basic instincts, it's.

Food, water, sex, you know, I need to just survive. That's what the root chakra is. And each one of the chapras represents something different. But let's just say you're severely traumatized in the first seven years of your life, then you're going to be dealing with abandon the issues, you know, maybe struggling with poverty, you know, different things where you just are really dealing with the lack of mentality,

So yeah, so.

That's like a quick down and dirty. It's a lot deeper than that, but that's what we don't have but so much time. So that's a quick down and dirty about the chakras. How wild one go about resetting a chakra? You know, just a quick synopsis of that, right, So that is about reprogramming the self conscious mind. One of the things that I do a lot of work with is in our child work, Right, I do a lot of work with people on that, and it's you have to go back and rewrite the story right.

And because we live in a quantum universe where we're always creating our own reality, we have the ability to do that.

But most people are unaware that we do. Therapy is great, Like I don't ever tell people not to go to therapy. So you go to therapy to manage your mental health.

And to make sure that you gonta do anything bad to yourself or create havoc in your life and for the life and the lives of people around you. So you need that, So go to therapy. But if you really want to get healed, like true healing, you're gonna have this really tough work of reprogramming and subconscious mind. And that's how you can go back. That's just one technique. It's meditation.

I teach people how to do specific types of meditation, how to get into meditation, how to start if you're a new beat, where it doesn't take a whole lot of work, and just start to tune your mind.

It's like a bicycle, like it's muscle memory, you know. So you start with guided meditation, and then you move into where you're able to do visualists and create these scenarios on your own.

Yeah, what would you say is the difference between meditation and.

Prayer, Well, prayer it is began because when you're praying to something, you're asking an outside force to do something for you. When you're meditating, you understand that that power is within you, right. And so I know this is probably going to be controversial for a lot of people.

And this is not to push back against I one respect everyone's belief their religions, whatever they choose to practice.

I'm not that girl.

You can and those people can contact me as well too, But and I work with people like that all the time. But there's a difference because the concept of God is that God is somewhere outside of us. But it's like if God, whatever we think God is, created us, and wouldn't we be of the same It's the same thing,

Free will exactly. But so we have that saying free will then and if we're creating all these bad things, certainly that's letting you know right there that you have the power to recreate.

Your own life, your own reality. Okay, So that's the difference. When you're waiting, your praying is like you're begging some sort of external force to do something for you while

Also along the way, prayer, a lot of times people just wait for it, like some shit to happen, and they not actually do you know what they say, Prayer without works is dead. Like a lot of people just praying, they're not actually doing anything else.

Prayer is right, it takes away the one thing that you need to change your life, and that is your own power, because you're giving it away because it's an external force. About a little bit about magic and your background experience and practicing magic. Mm okay, Well I'll just get into the background first. Like magic is always been a part of my life. I started doing magic when I was in high school. I started with candle magic, you know, and I definitely watched The Craft right for the magic girlies as you know, you know, you know what I'm saying, Like you cannot be a magician you never watched The Craft. I'm not kidding, but I'm kidding. So I've always a girl.

Well that's good though, because you were experimenting, but you know there's like we have powers, like we when you're dealing with Okay, so let me just go back into my background. So I've been doing magic since I was in high school. I think certain things are just called to people, and it was definitely something that was just in me.

You know what I mean. And I don't know why I was called to it, but I just was.

I knew that innately the world that we lived in was not what people were seeing that it was.

And I knew that there was a parallel or an invisible world that could be tapped into. I just always because you know why, I was always outside in nature. I was always like climbing trees. I was always at

And then you know, I started to do like candle magic. I bought the books. I went to a few people, This one lady from Guyana.

Now people go to get it. There was no such thing. If you got the power, you know what you understand. They know who has it too, and they teach. I learned a lot from her, you know what I'm saying. From his p I found her, So you know, I just kept going and going and just building up on my knowledge base. And you know, you practice, and you see the things that you do that you're able to manifest and bring things you know into your life or whatever.

What people don't really realize is that it is you know, when you're dealing with the quantum realm, it's still with the quantum rum. You're dealing with your own subconscious mind. You're the magician.

So it's not like okay, a recipe per se, like you go put a pie together.

It is like that when you're doing spells and rituals, but that's mostly to just shut down the subconscious mind. It's not like, Okay, if I put if you, you and another person can do the same exact ration that works when one person doesn't work for the other. Why Because it's not just a recipe. The magic truly comes from within you. The actual the magic coming to pass is based upon your level of intent and your level of belief, and your your level of being able to cast that energy out into.

There's many different forms of magic, many different forms of magic. Is what they call it Loe magic. They have, you know, the high magic, which you see a lot of the people in Hollywood will practice a lot of this type of magic, her meticism, you know, they get into all of that.

But there's different levels to it. But here's the thing. The key here, though, is that people are doing magic every day. You're casting spells on yourself and other people every single day, just doing it. So magic is about, you know, understanding that there is an invisible round that impacts this world as well, and you know it's learning different techniques so that you can basically harness those powers. Don't don't wait until January. Start in October, okay, start in September. Start

Know, at least put the get the name, get the website, start something, Start putting it together. Start on whatever is that you're doing, so you already ahead. If you want to start going to the gym more often, start storing something small like walk and build up so by the time you get to that beginning point, which you know, there's no true beginning, but what people are marking off as you know, the new year, then you're already ahead

Right, that's right, ladies, This is why they diet some work. It is the same reason why these New Year's resolutions don't work. Here's another trap thing about the New Year's resolution. It's too long. It's a whole fucking year, you guys, like, it's a whole year. That's too good, damn long. You get a little sight of your goals. So here's a tip. Make a three.

Month goal, okay, quarterly goals for the new year. So when you sit down, when you write out what all you would like to accomplish in this year, write those things down quarterly. But there is a definite science about writing things down because when you write something down, you're writing it a law for yourself, like you've just created a new law. So that's why we don't say we definitely write in the in the present tense. Now right now, I am not I'm going to you know, I want to.

So whenever whatever you say after I am, then that becomes a manifestation. So if you're saying negative things about yourself, you know after using the phrase I am, because that's literally a magic spell. I am is the easiest magic spell there is and people use it on themselves all the time.

So that's what I wanted to say about writing things down. Make sure, guys that you're doing you're being very authentic because this is you and you. There's nobody looking. There's no there's not social media where you feel like you got to put on errors for other people. Whatever. Be authentic, be the best version of yourself. And if you feel as though.

It feels inauthentic what you're doing, like in the sense that it feels inauthentic, then that's something that you have to work through. You can do mirror exercises, which is basically just looking at yourself in the mirror, looking deep into your own eyes, and giving yourselves the repetition of positive affirmations. A journal of your your goals, your manifestations, okay, and your affirmations. Those are really important. I don't want to overwhelm you guys. You don't have to do all of these things.

You can pick and choose what you want to do, what feels most comfortable for you, but something that you can be consistent with, all right, because ajorenaline is a part of writing it down, making it happen. That have like these old, raggedy looking pages, so it's almost like you have like your oil little spell book. And I'm gonna use that, yes, and I'm using that as my diary for twenty twenty four. Okay, really tell you what I do.

Widely accepted, but the general public just doesn't know about it. So maybe that does sound crazy to some people, but if you're well read, you know what I'm saying, it doesn't sound crazy at all. Is completely possible. And I was having these thoughts as a child before I knew any of these books this said, which is why I went on my spiritual journey at a very young age, because I just knew that there was more to this world than what we were being told. These are just tools.

We need tools like many of us, like average people, we don't have things set up for us, like through generational wealth or you know, being propped up. We have to figure out ways to you know, how to break through that ceiling, you know, through that barrier right to where this becomes our normal for our generations moving forward.
