just a household name, but someone else that's around forever. UM. And I think it's a time again we haven't UM. We have a quite quite a few in my opinion, UM artists that today, like Drake stands out to me as a legend, Kanye West stands out to me as a legend UM. But this new generation, even after after Drake UM, it's kind of you know, I don't know, I don't really know who I could say that it's going to be a legend um a lot of times you'll be killing people with the autom do the ship

They really do need producer, especially like a lot of you know, like a lot of um, I won't even just say rappers, but you know, a lot a lot of rappers are pretty good if they have producers to really help them sort of like make albums, and then they're making great albums. Uh. Speaking of great albums, I wanted to talk to you about this great album

we just put together. Um. But you know, when it comes to making great albums, you know, producers really help you sort of like make different cover different lanes, you know what I'm saying. Of of of of an album. You could be you know, really working on a great body of work, but they continue to push you in ways that you can't even push yourself, right, And so

I think that's the part that's really missing. And you know, today it's like, I don't know, man, people they be wearing their their their their emotions on their sleeves and shipped to the point where they don't really want nobody to really help them. And I'm cool with that ship, but it's like, at the end of the day, you're gonna be competing with someone, you know what I'm saying. You you know, people forget that you're competing on those charts.

You're not like this ship, ain't like putting it out. And I think it's got to the point where people feel like, you know, I'm gonna put my ship out and it's gonna do what it's gonna do. But eventually your money give sucked up. You know what. Everybody want to be. Everybody want to be the chief. Yeah. So for me, like a good n R is like like um or what a good n R is looking for? You're looking for something different for one, because you have a lot of people right now sounding and saying like I mentioned auto tune, um uh. Let me just the person's look. It was such a motivation for me, you know to never quit never um, never stopped dreaming. Um. And then you know, to lose your mom eventually, Um like I lost my mom to cancer because she liked smoke cigarettes, you know. Um, And you know, I just try to you know, I try to tell you know people and I don't even like

to say younger people. I just like tell people like man, you know, life is about learning from other people's experiences. So you know, I like to write, you know, I love to write you know, songs to help, you know, to help change life and shape shape culture. You know what I mean? was a coping mechanism for her own trauma. Right yeah, you know you know what was music and that was something healthy and it helped other people with their trauma. So that's the blessing in that. You know what, I just I just just kind of unselfish too with myself, you know what I'm saying when it comes to like given, I really enjoy making music for artists and helping them get to their uh you know what I'm saying, get to the get the where they're trying to go. Like I enjoyed trying to help artists meant, you know what I'm saying. And um so sometimes that's more interesting than me than

performing on stage. I enjoy it, I really do. But you know, I like trying to help artists get to they get to their goal. You know what I'm saying. clever way of um putting the perspective to it. You know what I'm saying and saying it in a way with it makes a lot of sense. But I've never been said before. You know.
