Dryad- Monster Friends

This week's episode about Dryads is brought to you by Greek mythology, New York Fashion Week and Trees. Kyle and Alex learn all about the mythological origins of the tree dwelling Dryads and then compare those origins to the one provided in Dungeons and Dragons. It turns out that, for once, D&D has gotten pretty close to the original idea. Although, when your origin is "lives in a tree", it's kind of hard to mess that up.But are Dryads friends or fiends? And does "lives in a tree" mean they live in a tree fort? Or do they live in a hole in a tree like a squirrel? The answer is neither. It's a lot cooler than that.
